Hi girls
I've been AWOL due to a family death, funeral next week so wanted to catch up on the thread now as it takes the mind off things.
mum2one, I'm looking forward [STRIKE]dreading[/STRIKE] the next challenge. Also wondering if you managed to clean your teeth before the dentist (after that lovely meal). It's funny what parts of someone's post that stays in the mind.0 -
What a shame Anglea. We did miss you. Sending you ((((((((big hugs))))))))I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Hi all
Thanks for the support. xxxx
mum2one, I laughed about your steak comment.
Susan, how do you get a haircut for £2 I wonder.
Round here they are about £15 or more dry cut, no appointment, which means they spray your hair and you leave with it wet. I've had to cut own hair for years as I can't stand the interrogation techniques they use to find out everything imaginable about you and your family.
mcjordi - what a useful skill you have with the computer.
I immediately thought of all of you today when I went to replace a room gel air freshener (white plastic with holes) with a new one and discovered they come apart. I'd always thought they were moulded. So all of a sudden I had a little box to fill with my home grown lavender.
So if you didn't know about this already - it's something you can do.0 -
Ooh thanks Anglea - hadn't thought of that.
Mcjordi - I hope you win your bids and don't get too carried away. I bid on something the other day for DD2's room when its decorated. Placed bid for £9.50 p+p was £2.50 thought that would be ok £12.00 altogether.
Looking through the Next catalogue the next day, it was only £8.00. Thank goodness I got outbid.:T I'm terrible I get carried away easily, but its not as bad as my Mum - she forgets to put the decimal point in.:eek::eek:
Edited to add - you're lucky Anglea/Susan - a dry cut around here is just that - no water involved and £16.00 minimum.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
