I have been putting off going through my stash of gifts as they are on top of my wardrobe and with my dodgy arms it can be a bit of a pain trying to reach but have to get in there today as I need to find the photo book I did for my Dad. Was saving it for his birthday but have decided to give it to him for Father's day instead. Will get youngest daughters bits out to while I am up there as her birthday next month.

mum2one I'm looking forward to the challenge again, even though theres a big hint of cleaning there.

mcjordi I havent done anything today neither, its the first time I've seen the sun in days, so it would be rude not to sit out in it.

mary op love the pebble keyring idea, might have to try those.

Well Ive made a couple of xmas cards whilst the weather was bad last week so thats a grand total of 7, really need to get my bum in gear.

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying the lovely weather (hope youve all got sunshine)

    Hello all :j
Lovely day..........been outside for a bit but had soc.workers meetings and that broke the day up.
Did a bit of 'crafty' stuff...........the three pebbles I found with holes in are now key rings and I've concocted a handbag charm from some old beads......found my book of pressies from last year...........I'd had a mad panic cos I couldn''t find it and hadn't a clue who had what last year.........least now I know what not to make...............lol
Off to Liverpool tomorrow morning so won't be about till Sunday night or Monday -depends what time we get back. MIL's 90th so bit of a 'family' get together.
Catch you all when I get back:j
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Have a lovely time Mary. :)

Mcjordi - Good to see you getting organised for Christmas. My OH only gets involved with a little bit of wrapping but you'd think he'd organised the lot and I sat on my backside all day.

Today was beautiful here. I went to the Gardeners World Live show at the NEC. I only live around the corner so not far to travel. It was really good, but you can see the difference since I first went four years ago - its getting smaller and smaller. Not a patch on Chelsea Flower show. Will have to go there next year instead.

While I was there I bought a copy of the Hairy bikers cook book for my sister and had it autographed my the men themselves. The Good Food show is on too, and you can get into both. It'll go nicely with the cookbook I received yesterday from the one and only time I went on the comp thread. That's her birthday sorted (in January).:D

I received some free tickets for a car show yesterday too (off the freebeies board), so I'll give them to my Dad for Fathers day and save the gift I bought him for Christmas.

Note to self: Must wrap up presents tomorrow. :)
    I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Cleaning - what would Miss Hoodie be that cruel..... then again we did have a "clean free month"......

Wasn't the sun lovely, could of done with sitting out, no peace for the wicked, back to the fracture clinic with my knee, gd news the knee is slowly healing, bad news.... its damaged some ligaments and muscles, stretched them, thats good, as bad would be they'd be tore....

Then the icing on the cake - did the doc discuss the ex-ray with you, NO..... WHY....... oh its just you have arithitis in both knees and your hips, me, I said thought only older people got that, to which he looked at my file and said while you are 40 next yr.......!!

So nipped to the pub for lunch, lovely steak, chips, dianne sauce, and rhubarb crumble... followed by a quick teeth clean and a dentist visit, I'd broke 3 teeth, (chipped 2, filling came out of 3rd).......

So hopefully had all my negatives in one day........

Back to studies tomorrow..... and christmas planning!! xx
