Thank you for all the good wishes, survived the exam, very handy room as I was next dr to the loo...... the OU really go out of their way to help, coz of health and the crutches, they arrange for me to have to have 1 to exam, local location and 30mins break on a 3hr exam, taken as and when needed it.

Bit shocked we'd been given a trial exam paper and last yrs exam but this was harder.

The 1st part you had to answer all 5 questions, they were based on each of the business subjects, then the 2nd part, again same subjects but more indepth and u picked 2. You can tell how difficult I found it, for one of my 2 choices I did a accountancy question, the subject I didn't study, bar the 1st 10 pages, but touch wood, I think I knew what I was doing, 40 is the pass mark, and as one of the ladies put on our OU forum, "look at it like this 40% pass, that means we can get 60% wrong"........ so now have to wait to September, but gave it my best xx

Well done mum2one, I bet you are relieved you have done it now and can take a few breaths... your like me never stopping.

    Hello all :j

mum2one - well done on surviving the exam:T

Attacked the dreaded plastic notebook and 'unstuck paper' again today -this time I got the copydex out........think it may have worked -currently sitting underneath two heavyweight books in the hope it'll stay stuck............if not I'll give up............salvage the ribbons and flowers I painstakingly put on and chuck it................:rotfl:
Apart from washing - oh and hunting for a bookmark I made and now can't find - not done a lot.............There were two little boxes I'd had some medication in I could have covered but by the time I remembered them I'd put all my glue and stuff away so they'll have to wait.

OH fetched car from the garage -chappie says its ok so maybe OH was getting a bit paranoid going to see his mum at the weekend..............lol:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Ladies, we're getting closer to that special day, santa's challenge, Miss Hoodie is back on board.... and full of ideas.... (thou ur be pleased to know that she will be curbed!!)

The heads up - ladies were having a special challenge in the santas Challenge - without giving the game away, all you need is £2.00...ready for the 24th....

There will be a prize, for the winner...... which will be book of 12 x 1st class stamps, (which Miss Hoodie has donated from my stamps stash), as she will be chooseing the winner!!

I know its a bit cryptic, but be fun, adventurous, easyish to do, may need some brain power.......

Woo Hoo! Mum2one please tell Miss Hoodie I'm really excited and can't wait to find out out what it is.

Well done on your exam. As long as you tried your best you've nothing to worry about. :D

I'm glad you've sorted your notebooks Mary. I'm hoping it stays stuck for you.

Mcjordi - what did I say? I told you he'd ask sooner or later. :rotfl:

mum2one - did you get the same little notebooks as me - five in a pack ? If you did they should be ok........least mine were. It's this A5 one I got from Wilkos when we went to the hospital last week that's been that nuisance. Still, no worries..........if all else fails it'll go in the bin...........:rotfl:
Just been looking for some 'joke pill labels'..........I usually put a load of tic taks in an old pill bottle with a joke label on -shopaholic, stress out, that sort of thing -having trouble finding ones I haven't used before.

The five in a pack, plastic cover, spiral metal at the top, thought they'd go well in my memo box sets, did use the Asda value mini note pad, covered that with matching wrapping paper as the box.

That is a brilliant idea re tic tacs never thought of that, u realise your an absolute genius.... don't know what we'd do without you. xx

mum2one -it's not me who's the genius...........I get these ideas from other folk on this board............lol Worth having a look on the crafting thread and card making.
Just had a look at the jewellry thread........someone on there did a key ring with a pebble shaped fob........Ah., thought I............I'm sure somewhere among my bowls of pebbles (yes I know......having bowls of pebbles is a bit sad..........lol) I've got some with holes in...............and I have...........three of them :T So, they'll become three keyrings............bit masculine so they'll be for the men I'm doing pressies for. Always run out of ideas of stuff to concoct for blokes........;)
