All went well at hospital yesterday except the long wait:mad: Boffin doesn't want to see OH till december and the xray looked a lot better than previous.
Got some bargains while we were out.......charity shops I found six pieces of fabric I'm making specs cases with (looks like everyones having one this year.............lol), alphabet letters for scrapbook, nipped into Boyes and found 30 sheets of scrapbook paper for £5.99 so thats scrapbook no.2 sorted, stocked up with post it notes, notebooks to cover and loads of glue so I'm raring to go...........:j
Well would be if I hadn't had to wait up till 4 this morning for police after our lad didn';t come home last night. He came back this morning -knew he would..................I've had a lie in so recovering (I think.........lol)

Thats brilliant news re OH, - raise a J20 to you, (got 200 mile drive home 2mor!!).

MARY I know this is silly but i`m still thinking about your scrapbooks..., i cant sleep.....perhaps on the front you could put a tree on then leaves, and in the leaves you could have little photos of people in the scrapbook...:rotfl: I`m sure i`m cracking up

Had an idea last night for some jewellery bits, turned light on 1am to sketch my thoughts, OH asked me was i ill........ no i said, have you got a pen...he thought he`d dreampt it ....:D

Mary how do you make spec cases? :o

Susan, I often do that about thinking of things while I am supposed to be asleep. I keep a pen and paper in the drawer next to the bed just in case. Can never remember them when I get up.

That thing you just said about the tree, I think its called the tree of life and it has given me an idea to use for the middle of two quilts I want to make next year for my sisters xx

    Hello all :j
Bit more done............2 more scrapbook pages done and 3 beer mats covered with paper and added post it notes and a bull dog clip so they hang on the wall.
Trailing geraniums planted and trough full of little white flowers -forget what they're called but thats my gardening stint done anyway.

Couldn't sleep last night so was trying to work out what I could put in little tool boxes I got from 98p shop in Torquay.............want to make them into SOS boxes full of 'stuff you run out of'........candles, matches, batteries, tissues, sticky plasters............then came to a standstill and brain wouldn't work....................lol:rotfl:
All ideas welcome.............got the feeling I've mentioned this before (or maybe on different thread ?) -wherever it was I can't find it..........lol:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Not sure if it has been mentioned but what about a toilet roll.

Haven't posted much on here but think I need to pay closer attention as haven't really bought, or spotted much, for Christmas and would like to be a little prepared for my DS and DD.

Hi mcjordi, welcome to our thread, we all been trying to get organised since last christmas, but i`m not sure if i`m more organised or not, my spare rooms full of things...:o

Mary sos boxes sound good...how about a couple of small screwdrivers, never can find one when needed, and a roll of tape...installation and sellotape..
I got my thinking cap on (no sleep for me) but mind away at the moment..safety pins

    :)
