    Hello all :j
    cdsmiler - glad you're feeling a bit better :)

You all seem to be ever so busy...........well, I still haven't made it to the new charity shop - rained all day so I got busy with another specs case and cut out some velvet roses from an old top and stitched them to a plain pair of gloves I bought (50p)-then had a go at a 'handbag charm'.............not as good as those on the Jewellry thread but I was using beads I didn't want and a pair of pliers...........don't have all the other stuff you need to do it right and to be honest, don't think my fingers would be up to it anyway,

So thats been my day...........not very exciting but satisfied I've at least got a few more things done.
We're at the hospital tomorrow for OH to see consultant again so fingers crossed:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Xmas Saver!
Mary - Good luck for 2mor, hope everything goes ok, keep fingers crossed for you.

Sarah - Camping as well, ur a gluten for punishment.......

had a good day 2day, still raining this morning so took a drive out to tavistock market, treated myself to a new handbag - very mse £4.99.....

Thou do have a couple of confessions (she slips them in quietly)

1st - As we had the ins money back, too expensive to go out to Tunisia now, summer prices, so as its the big 4.....0..... I've booked to take dd to Mexico, she doesn't know - toss up of me going to Cuba or the both of us to Mexico... so Mexico won...... thou have to put some to it, so will be culling the xmas prezzies list....ebaying and anything and everything. guess mums health has got worse since her stroke, and after being on holiday really noticed she was less mobile, and the cottage that we have stayed in at November time, she wouldn't be able to manage the stairs, don't think its sunk in properly / shes not copeing with it, she lost her older brother in Feb. Guess its a lot 0f vvariables, I'm working around OU etc, so if i don't do it next yr, would have no idea when we could do it, so just grabbed it, she can't come with us, but she'll have the next best thing the photos, video etc and shes giving me money to go towards it, so will be living extra frugal.

Confession 2 (she slips this in)
a friend of mine rang this morning and he's got 2 weeks off work sept/oct and asked if I faniced going abroad, but everything just expensive, can't afford it, so plan B, were having a week 2gether in Devon. I haven't seen him for 5 years, we did say 5 yrs ago we'd go away, but when I've been away, hes's been working, booked a 3 bed van, told him i'm having the double, he gas the choice of the other 2..... becoz I got a discount, he's offered to pay the rest, but I said go halves, feel better then. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Thanks Sarah. Just got in, I've been shopping for OH father's day pressies.

I bought him 4 tshirts from BHS. Should be £7.50 each but on 2 for £10. Paid with Toluna gift vouchers so only cost me £5.00.

My four hot prints books came this morning - worked out about £2.00 each. Ones for him, and one each for grandads's, one for DD2.

So there's the tshirts (£5) and the photobook (£2) and card (50p p+p) and will give him a deodorant/showergel set I bought in Boots' sale (£8 reduced to £2) That's him sorted for the amazing total of £9.50.

Another manic day here, got beavers tonight  ohh the things I let myself in for :D

Just got the rest of the set. They had all of them in today, were still 3 for £5 and had to buy 5 books so other daughter who was with me got one for herself too and gave me the pound lol. So the whole set cost £14 and on Amazon they are £38.

Brilliant Rufus - what a bargain! I didn't make it to The Works, as had other stuff on. I'll have to try at the weekend now. I'll have to make a note so I don't forget!
