Think I might be doing OK this month - mum2one you must never let Miss Hoodie do the challenges again, then I might have a chance of keeping up:rotfl::rotfl:
    Here goes:

    Santas Challenge - March.

    ME EVENT
had a lovely night TOTALLY to myself last week. Hubby away working, kids sleepover at my parents. It was GREAT! I watched telly, ate my dinner when I wanted, and was also very organised as I spent the evening sewing a present for my niece's first birthday in a couple of weeks. Lovely.

    COOKING
I am saving this one up as we have had tons of Easter Eggs, but kids pestering for chocolate cookies so will do these once the eggs are eaten.

    EASTER
Just got little eggs from Morrisons on 3 for 2, as other family also got them eggs. Did a very little egg hunt - a little Easter quiz and they had to take a certain letter from each answer and rearrange them to spell a room in the house, all their eggs were there.

    CARDS
All cards now sorted for the next 12 months, except ones for hubby (I get mine thru my sis from Phoenix catalogue but they're not really his style. not the total cheapest but they are nice and don't have a Card Factory or anything nearby - unless anyone knows of one inYork???). Need Father's day(June), anniversary (Aug) and b'day (next Feb!). Will try and get these whenever am next out and see a good deal.

    HOUSEHOLD KIT
We have all this stuff in one kitchen drawer so OK on this one.

    KIDS BEDROOMS
YIPPEEEE!!!! Finally got DS2's bedroom sorted, feels so good! So now both kids rooms done. I do need to go through their wardrobes tho as think they are both ready for the next size up, so will try and do that soon.

    CAR-BOOT
Def will do one of these, but waiting for my stash to grow as still have a couple of rooms (ours and spare room) to clear out. Had planned to do ebaying but sounds all very complicated and not sure how well our stuff would sell anyway, so have decided to do a car-boot. Doubt it will be this month tho.

    MEDICATION
    Not really applicable for us.

It wouldn't be a proper challenge without a small bit of cleaning!!
Do you have an understairs cupboard, an airing cupboard, draws under the bed...... or your stash area, - when was the last time they were sorted...... this is the month to empty ans sort.

Aaaaawwwww - OK, have totally not done this bit. Maybe I will make doing the kids wardrobes this bit. Or is that cheating by doing the same work for 2 bits of the challenge???:p

Sorry for long post but am trying to be good and this is helping me keep track!

Well done on working through the challenges Elyphant - I'm sure you can count the wardrobe as your stash area :D

CDsmiler - I hope that Bethan let you have a good night's rest - thinking of you.

Not done much today as I have been volunteering at DD2 playgroup - may have an interview there next week for a relief worker position (so I will get paid for covering sickness and holidays) - will keep you posted - would be nice for a few extra pennies here and there.

    Hope everybody is well
    Take care

Yes the evening was bliss Sarah, I would highly recommend getting rid of your family from time to time!:p

Thanks for the tip on the Card Warehouse, not often in Doncaster but will keep it in mind if headed that way.

Mary - what are you like? Get yourself some rest, you make me tired just hearing what you get up to! Hope the plumber comes and gets your boiler sorted.

    Hello all :j
Well I got the chance of a lie in -plumber came but not too early............heating still not done cos we need a new pump:eek: aint there always something ! He's coming back on Monday to sort it out -till then it's out with the cosy blankets when I'm watching the tele.........few candles lit and its nice and snug..................;)
Managed three pages for scrapbook no.2 today...........must be getting somewhere -I can nearly fit it all in the drawer now..................lol - did say nearly................lol

Must just edit and ask this:
As I sit here in my long skirt (thinking I'd be warmer) I'm whats called 'a bit chilly' -putting it mildly - so had quick google to see if there were any skirts around that were either fleece or blanket type material -only ones I've seen I;d need a second morgage for !!!
Only other option iss fleece trace suit bottoms.............but I do love my skirts
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Free Photobook here - No cost for P&P either. They make their money from advertising from what I gather so you dont need to give them any card details or anything.

I received my free photobook from Hotprints today, it's absolutely excellent! I'm so pleased with it :D. It's almost A4 sized and the photos have printed really well.
I used photos of my husband and son together as it's going to be a Father's day present.

It's not a one-time-only freebie either, you can get one free photobook every month. Next month I'm going to order one for my Mother-in-law as I know she'd love one of my son.

    Did anyone else order one?

Those cards are fab, picked up 2 sets, they look really expensive, and got a nice 30th card for 89p, if it was Hallmark be about £2 quid, and a A4 sized cards for mum off dd, only 99p, love their prices (bar the wrapping paper begrudge paying 40p a sheet!! Home bargains bulk buy and they can lump it!). x
