    Ditto the above post!!!

I have been sat here sorting the car insurance out - ARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I feel better now! :D

It's only taken 5 hours. After two comparison sites and millions of quotes later (and two x hour long phone calls via India) I finally paid for it (via quidco but shhhhh - don't tell the OH. It's going in the Christmas fund). :rotfl:

I'd best get ready - I'm still sat here in my Pj's. I did do the housework before I sorted the insurance though, so I'm not too bad! ;)

Right I'm off to get dressed and and then tidy up the garden.

    Hello all :j
mum2one - good news for your mum..........piles aren't pleasant but a lot better than the alternative I'd say.

Been to GP this morning about my ears (they keep feeling like they're still clogging up) GP has a look..........seems I've got an ear infection so I've got antibiotic ear spray (3 times a day) and tablets (twice a day -leaflet says not to take them too close to my other medication -why I wonder........) GP says I'm to go back in a month even if they feel ok...........if they're not right he'll refer me to ear nose and throat chappie................oh lor I thought.........thats all I need. Not only OH going off to hospitals...........me as well ???
Maybe we've got to that stage (or is it age?) when the only trips out are to the doctors or hospitals.............lol:rotfl: And the list of possible side effects for what I'm taking.............well, you'd not believe the length of one list !! May cause drowsiness etc...........well I'd not know cos I'm always a bit of the lethargic side............lol:rotfl:
Mustn't fret about silly old ears though but just bear with me for being currently so disorganised even Kim and Aggie would turn and run out the door !!!
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I've got more doctor news to share lol, maybe we should turn this into "whats up with us today" thread!!
I finally got in today, after 4 days of "sorry we have no appointments left" and surprise surprise, my self diagnosis was exact, Pulled all the muscles down the left hand side of my back and neck, and have trapped a nerve. Nothing they can really do apart from drug me up and hope it sorts its self out, he said if it hasnt improved by Tuesday to go back. So I've now got some cream that ive got to put on 3 times a day, some strong pain killers that must be taken three times a day with food, and some other things, not sure what they are for, but he said they WILL make me drowsy, it isnt a maybe, so only once a day before bed! So MSE is out of the window, I will spend anything I want! althrough I will save money by not going to watch the grand national at the pub tomorrow!
Sorry for boring you all, so stressed and in agony, so needed to get it out and OH is sick of hearing it now! xx

    Morning Ladies

Have got family visiting today so wanted to get on here early before the mad rush starts.

Received the book I made up for my Grandaughter, it looks really nice, just like a proper story book but with her in it. Vistaprint sent me an email after with some freebies in, just have to pay the postage so ordered a t-shirt for OH to go with his birthday present, and mug, pen and bag for youngest daughter with her name on, came to just over £4.

OH has been going on about getting the some mothers do ave em box set of dvds but they have been going for about £100 for some reason. Looked yesterday on Amazon as my next voucher came from Dooyoo and someone on the Marketplace was selling it for £30. I just hope its proper and the right one, they have good feedback so keeping fingers crossed. Never had any problems before with Amazon. Had enough in vouchers to pay for it outright so if its ok when I get it will put it away as his Xmas present.

    Hi everyone

Not sure if any of these links will be of any use to anyone. Ive been lurking in the background and thought Id post. Sorry if Ive got the wrong end of the stick and this isnt the kind of stuff thats supposed to be posted on here. x

Free Calendar here - you just upload your own photo and print out

Free Photobook here - No cost for P&P either. They make their money from advertising from what I gather so you dont need to give them any card details or anything.

    Hello all :j
hicarrol - I did something to a siatic nerve about three or four years back..........very very painful and all GP did was give me pain killers that sent me to cuckoo land and tell me to go back in 3 weeks if it was no better.
I could hardly walk and ended up having aromatherapy massage..........took 6 weeks but did the trick -not cheap but well worth it.
Now I just have to watch what I do -last thing I want is for it to start up again.
Get well soon............take it easy and hugs (((((:o)))

Managed to get my scrapbook done :j Can't think of anything else I need to put in it. Think for the next one I'll have a lot of the photos done at the photocopy shop........might work out cheaper than all the ink I must have used. Trouble is, now all the extra copies of 'journalling' and any spare photos, frames etc. are in a sort of heap so next job is to sort them out into some kind of order so the next scrapbook is easier to do.(hopefully)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
