    Hi girls,

I just read Elysia's post about the internet, I only just got mine back (this evening) after it went off this morning. BT was it? Pub by the canal - sounds very nice indeed.

Got a brillaint advance pressie for mum, it's a book called Inspirational Gardens from round the world RRP is £25 and I got it in TK Maxx for £6 - in case anyone wants one.

I've just ordered one, I'm so excited! I've made one just with pictures of my husband with our son and then I can give it to him for Father's day. I spent ages messing around with the layout on each page and changing the photos around, it's really good that you can have it just as you want as I've found the free photobooks often don't let you change the style or order of the photos.

I really hope the photobook looks good, there were lots of happy comments on their Facebook page. Giving one free each month is amazing, plenty of time to stock up on a few as Christmas presents :D

NIcky - I've done them before, all the difference is, there's a page of advertising on the second page. You can pull it out because it's perforated and no-one will ever know!

I'd forgotten all about them, it must have been 18 months ago, I did that.

Ooooo how good is the quality elysia?! I would love to do some as pressies for people this Christmas with pics of Bethan in them, but hubby is very much into his photography and is quite particular about the print quality! We've used Bob Books in the past for our weddng pics and honeymoon pics - they're quite expensive, but the quality of finished product is amazing and ideal for long term once-in-a-lifetime momentos (highly recommend them!). Maybe I'll have a go at the free one for someone's birthday or something.....will have a think.

Immunisations for Bethan tomorrow. Ouchys! Bless her. SHe slept REALLY well after the last two times, so fingers crossed for a nice long night tomorrow night. lol

Hi everyone! Hope everybody is OK and not any more mishaps from anybody.

I've had a really productive couple of days with the sun being out and I have been really motivated to get stuck into the challenges! I sorted out my emergency tin and medicine box - so now I know where everything is. Also, on Sunday DS was playing out and I got rid of DH and DD1 and DD2 to his sisters - I got stuck into tidying up the back yard (remember I started the other week and then had the accident with my foot? :rotfl:) - anyway, got everything moved (carefully) swept the yard, re-potted an apple tree and DD1's bean plant that she grew at school and even got round to planting some herbs!

Today, I tackled the front garden as DS and DD1 were back at school. Mowed the lawn and weeded the flower beds. Even managed some baking with DD2 and also took her to the park on her tricycle.

Let's hope the sunny weather continues so I can get more done. :j

    Hello ladies,

Just wanted to say thank you for all the messages of support - what would I do without you?

mum2one - glad to hear the holiday is rebooked. Fingers crossed the insurance company pays out sooner rather than later.

Had to let you all know about my weekend away. My OH booked us 2 nights in the De Vere hotel near Haslemere, and it cost £38!! Yes, £38 in total for a De Vere. Apparently, he's gone all money saving on me and signed up to the mailing list a while back which offers rooms as cheap as £10 a night when they are doing special deals. So, bless him, he decided to book a weekend away for my birthday to cheer me up. Made good use of restaurant vouchers and our National Trust membership whilst we were down there, so all in all a top weekend. Even the sun decided to play ball for a change!

I had to sort my car insurance out so went on Quidco, took DS off my insurance as he got his own car:j my insurance went down from £68:eek: per month to £28 :T and I got £42.50 cashback, so I saved £40 a month

So what did I do went to outlet and bought a Radley purse, which I always wanted, reduced from £55 to £20 and got a haircut, I never get my hair cut. Its like going to dentist for me

    Morning all

Everyone sounds like they are having a productive time.

Hope you get your heating sorted mary, and hugs to anyone who needs or want one.

We have all been busy, nearly finished the yard area off and the kids have been in the garden most of the week making DR who video's. were off to the local country park today so they can do some more videos in the woods there and have a picnic.

Hope everyone has a great day
    Take Care
