Well I have the garden challenge sorted. We went out to do a bit last week or the week before and OH said he is going to spend the day out there today bleaching the patios and getting the furniture out while I go out for lunch with my eldest daughter lol. Will be thinking of him while I am having my chinese xx

    Hi all

All this talk of gardening makes me think it's summer already.

hlcarroll - you could do windowsill herb planting, tidy up houseplants, or one of those plastic/glass bowls and put plants into them, or even a miniature garden on a plate or tray.

Come to think of it, I quite fancy making one of those - much better than bleaching the patio which I need to do and have just seen on someone's post.

Tidying up the graveyard is a good idea too, I often put up pots that have fallen over if I'm in one. Be careful for 'health and safety' inspectors :).

Sarah, glad you enjoyed your cinema trip, I wondered if there was a film called 'How to train your OH/ children' :)

Mum2One - you have some good info about toilets and food LOL. Actually that's a good idea because it's often those details that are the most necessary on a trip away.

    Hello ladies,

Sorry haven't been around for a while. Was diagnosed with depression at the beginning of the year and haven't felt much like being sociable. Rest assured I've been keeping up with the thread, just haven't been posting very much.

Am starting to come back out of myself a bit more now, so you can expect some of my witty (:rotfl:) posts to start appearing again.

Sending you all lots of love and hugs,

    Erm

Hi all, sorry have not been posting much lately, I love following this thread but I do find it hard sometimes to get time to post.

{{{{erm}}}} take care of yourself depression is a horrid thing but you'll get through it.

I am being a bit naughty really and veering off the challenges lately - have been busy making stuff for my niece's upcoming birthday, and have FINALLY cleared out DS2's room - YAY!!!! It is so nice now, have not done anything with it really just a good clear out and it's such a difference. Our room next. So I am kind of taking my room by room clear out as my monthly challenges! Hope you don't mind!

I do like the idea of the garden one though. DH and I are both hopeless gardeners - he is clueless and I am lethal! We have a nice sized but very bare garden. Don't want to bite off more than we can chew so would like for this year to get it really nice and tidy (various things like old doors that have been out there since we moved in - nearly 2 years!!!) and plan out what we want to do with it, so challenge will help there. Also have some veg seeds to plant so will try that - don't expect to get much but it's all practice, isn't it!

Don't worry Clare, I don't think the thread is getting too quiet - I still struggle to keep up lol!

Mary - enjoy the trip, you absolutely deserve it!

    Sorry, long post again :o

    Hi all,
Well not doing anything today, my back is getting even worse and I can barely stand up and the worst thing is I can't even get into the doctors, at ours you have to ring at 8am to get an appointment, they don't do any injury advance appointments, and I have tried for the last 3 days and when I finally get through theres no appointments left! Its such a bad way of doing it, they don't even put you on hold, so some people will only ring once and get an appointment, but others can try 30 times and not get 1! I desperately need some strong painkillers haven't slept for days :O(, bet everyone with a slight runny nose or cough has got in through LOL! althrough I suppose I am being pretty MSE not buying much at all, but the urge to internet shop is becoming overwhelming!! xx

Sending you big hugs too ((((HLCARROLL)))). Our doc's is like that. Nightmare! If you're dead press one, if your close to death press two, and that's if you get in the queue to be answered, most of the time you don't!

Lots of best wishes sent to Erm - nice to see you back. I hope you feel much better soon!

Treated myself today - using Survey love2shop vouchers. I bought perfume from Boots with a double points and extra points vouchers, So got another £6 in points off a £21.00 spend. I also bought some new shoes 20% off so only £12.

Not a big spend but it was nice having a mooch!

Did plan on going to Drayton Manor today because it's OH's day off. Trouble was, we used Tesco voucher's to buy the tickets and they hadn't arrived. We went to Telford shopping instead, and guess what was on the mat when we got home? Typical! - it was such a lovely day here as well. Hopefully, next week will be nice too, as he has the whole of next week off, so we can go one day then.
