Hello all :j
mum2one - thanks for the link.......I've had a look but I'd need to get sons details of how much he's getting and what his rent is etc. (He doesn't have computer)
Sarah - I told him to ring the benefits office yesterday but he was feeling so ill he couldn't cope with it.......maybe when he's been to the doctor on Monday he'll pop in and see them. He did say something about ringing Human Resources dept. at the college - he thought they might know. He's fretting about losing his job as well but surely that can't happen while he's ill can it ? Hope not. He's not someone who copes well at the best of times.
rufus - think it is the cotton -had another go at two button bracelets this morning and I can't seem to get them so that when I put them on they don't stretch too much and the cotton shows...........I'll pop to our sewing shop on Monday and see if they've got anything that might doI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

And a couple of boxes...... Eh Mary?
Hi Sarah, I hope your feeling a little more optimistic today. What did you think of the film? We saw it too. I quite liked it, and written my review for dooyoo, just waiting for suggestion to be added now.
Will get reviewing on Dooyoo later on if I get chance. DD2 not been too good lately. It doesn't look like she'll be at school tomorrow.
Have had lots of presents for Mother's day, (anyone would think I'd got ten kids not two) and have been spoiled rotten. I hope you all have too. xxxI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Sometimes those are the best kind of days though, not doing much and just relaxing
I thought of you today as I covered a notebook in some pretty handmade paper. I had some paper left and found a little cylindrical tin to cover as well. It looks really pretty, no idea what I can use it for though!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Went to my Son's at the weekend and found out I had got the colours of his bedroom wrong for the quilt I am making him. I could have sworn it was brown and cream up there but its black and cream and the quilt I am doing is more browns and greens. His living room is purples, pinks and greens so was wondering if the other quilt I am doing would go in there as a throw and then give the autumn colours one to my daughter who wouldnt mind what colour she got.
Ummed and ahhed over it this morning and have decided to make them another one this time using the purples, pinks and greens they have in their living room as I dont think they will be changing this for a while as their sofa is purple and they havent started paying for it yet.
Have decided to give the autumn one to my brother and sister in law for Xmas instead as if it wasnt for her I wouldnt have learned how to do it anyway and she seems to be back into knitting and crochet now so I dont think she would make a double bed one for herself. I know her bedroom is greens and browns so the colour will go and I hadnt got anything lined up for them yet on my gift list.
Spent the morning drooling over fabrics on Ebay lol. Have bought a few pieces towards the new quilt. Wont make it as big as a double one as it would be too big for the living room. Not exactly how big to make it at the moment, they have a quite big three seater settee with a low back so will want to do something to throw over that. Will have a look round at the size of large throws and see what I can find out.0 -
Hello all :j

Put some ribbon round foster daughters trug with all her gardening stuff in.............she'll love it I know........just need a couple of little bits to pad out sons birthday shoe box now and that'll be March birthdays sorted.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi Elysia2003
My name’s Matt and I am from Comet.
I can certainly appreciate your frustration regarding the power lead, however, our policy is to confirm the fault to the lead which is why Acer have asked for this to be returned. When the fault is confirmed they will then arrange for a replacement power lead to be sent out, however, the timescales you have been quoted for this to be completed are unreasonable.
Therefore, please could you send me an e-mail via the link below with the purchase information, the serial number of the laptop and any repair case reference numbers that you may have. I will then ensure that this matter is resolved for you as quickly as possible.
