Well done Mrsow - they're ALL lovely. What a brilliant idea for the game night hamper! I've been very nosy and looked at the other photo's aswell. The icecream hamper is a fantastic idea. DD1 would like one of those and it's her birthday next month. I'm going to use it, that's if you don't mind.

    Hi all

Jane - hope things improve with the temperature.

I remember when mine were at school, they seemed to always have a cough or something because as soon as one child has someone in the class, it gets passed on rapidly. Somedays I felt like screaming as they'd just get over one thing and then come down with another.

So for those of you with school age children - all that does eventually end but you might have to wait a long while :(

Mum2One, I love the way you've written that Miss Hoodie will try and 'be gentle'. I dread to think what she'd be setting us if you allowed her full rein :).

If Miss Hoodie had her way, she'd have everyone round re painting her bedroom, changed her lampshade, got a crystal style from Argos, reduced from £10 to £4, brought it for me, she thought it was for her, so it was trip no 2 to the argos, so now shes decided new lampshade means bedroom painted, lilac no longer good enough, must be pink... the right shade of pink!!

Wouldn't mind but my bedrooms not been painted for 10 yrs, I'm still sporting the sun and moon border but there at top of wall... xx

Thats a lovely surprise Mary-op. Whats going wrong with the bracelets? I want to try some as well as have a load of old buttons but havent bought the elastic yet, not sure what kind to get.

I have ordered my daughers camera and picked up my Dads photo book from Tesco this morning so thats another two presents out the way. Just have to buy 2 more birthday presents for the year now, grandaughter and grandson, then it will be finishing off the Christmas presents.

Hopefully will be able to pick up my sewing machine tomorrow and get on with my sewing. If it goes wrong again I might just buy myself a new one and done with it.

Rufus - I saw another sewing machine, it was in T J hughes. I'm sure it was only £60 again, but this time it had 25 or so stitches (unlike the one in Home Bargains with only 7).

Sorry, it's just something to keep in mind, if your machine is still playing up.
