    Hello all :j
Rufus -Very organised list ....now why can't I be like that;)

Angela - I tend not to wrap christmas pressies too far in advance just in case I end up buying the same thing again for the same person. I sort them out end of October time when I've got them all (hopefully) and get them wrapped and ticked off my list.

    mum2one -very mse................what more can I say.............:rotfl:

Well, not done much today except cover a Vic vapour rub box with floral paper and spend an age trying to concoct a key ring for my son. I'd already got a couple of wooden beads off a belt I got from charity shop and three times I tried to thread a button on that looks a bit like a football (know the sort I mean ? Normally on mens jackets) three times it fell off  In the end I threaded the button through the key ring and it looks fine........don't know why I didn't do that in the first place............;)

Shan't be doing much tomorrow as its OH's appt. for his scan and we're doing a bit of retail therapy to kill the time beforehand -he's got to go 4 hours with no food or drink !! At least browsing round the shops might take his hunger pangs away

Gd luck for 2morrow, hope all goes ok, def like the idea of retail therapy xx

My internet stays on for a few seconds and then blooming goes off, it is really really frustrating the hell out of me!!!!!!! I have switched it all off, took all the cables out and in and all on again. I sit here watching and waiting for the little internet symbol to come on so I can quickly copy and paste my dooyoo reviews. I have done the mini challenge this weekend yay.

Have sold 5 items on eBay too so about £15 profit there.
Waiting for my dooyoo cheque and lightspeed £10 PayPal.

This month is big payout for lad’s birthday and mother’s day and mums birthday 1st April. Also need to pay for lads do it for real summer camp, that’s another £50 but not bad for a weeks camp I suppose (I get discount it should be £300 )

I have had to type this up in word so I can paste it over lol this is how it has become arrgghhhhh! So I am not ignoring anyone honest

Well done on completing the challenge pammyj :T

sounds like your having fun with your internet, mine was doing that a while ago and it is so frustrating, everytime I checked to see if the light was on by the time I had loaded page I wanted it would go off again:mad: have you tried resetting the wireless networks on your laptop? I did that a few dozen times and it came back on in the end.

Thanks Nicky but it wasn't my idea in the first place - I think I stole/borrowed/half inched it off Mary!!!

My aren't we all organised. Have reviewed everyone on Dooyoo so I think I'm upto date. What I've decided to do on dooyoo is, except everyone on here - If i've written one review, I will rate one of theirs. I was reviewing upto five a day for some people, even when I hadn't written one - does that sound fair?

Hi everyone - can't seem to find much time lately to get on here.

Have been doing some bits of the challenge on and off by starting sorting out the corner cupboard int he kitchen which contains all the paint and tools etc. Whilst doing this I found some anti-condensation paint that I needed for around the bathroom window and I also found some wallpaper adhesive and stuck down some loose wallpaper in the kitchen - silly little jobs that didn't take much time, but never seemed to get round to! Still done now!

Mothers' Day brings back nightmares for me! 2 years ago we had gone to Church and the children were playing in the library part after the service whilst we were having a brew. DD1 jumped onto a cushion on the floor, misjudged it and fell off and broke her arm so we had to spend the rest of the day in casualty. As she was only 3 at the time she had to stay in overnight and the next day we were transferred to another hospital so that she could have the arm set in theatre - it was a horrible time! 3 weeks later the plaster was removed - 1 week after that she was running down the path, fell and broke her arm again in the same place, so back to hospital, transferred, operation etc. A year later, she had an accident at playgroup and broke her collarbone!!

Luckily last year we didn't have any mishaps - has anybody else had a nightmare Mothers' Day?

I need to get a frame for my mum's present - got one of those photo collages from Photobox when they were on offer.

Hope everybody is enjoying the sunshine - it really gets me motivated to do stuff!

Welcome Castri09 - join in, the more the merrier! We have little challenges do to each month (I think they are on post 1 or 2) Just do whatever bits you like, have fun and post on here regularly!

Jane I LOVE the sunshine, but hate it when it's too hot! Elysia asked yesterday, when can we get out in the garden planting again? I must admit I did go to garden centre to buy Mum's mothers day gift voucher but I forgot and brought back some tomato plants! Oops. :rotfl:

    Hi all,

Well the sun is out but there was thick frost on the grass and I was freezing when I went out.

Hi castri - welcome to the gang :)

Janebo- my goodness your DD has had a lot of bad luck hope everything goes well this year for her - and the rest of you!

Mary - hope everything goes well for you both.

I can empathise with not having food as I had my teeth done today and had 5 lots of anaesth. so I'm doing the Slim Fast plan until the numbness wears off.

It's really weird as I've got an itch on my face yet when I scratch it, I can't feel it so it still itches.

Pammy that was a really good discount for the camp.

    Hello all :j
Just got back -well about an hour ago. Nightmare to park at the hospital -was full up so we ended up on a grass verge !! And had to pay for the privilege.
We'll know how it went when we see the 'boffin' chap on Wednesday so fingers crossed for then.
Managed some retail therapy before we got there-handy little precinct just before the hospital.........Focus -Morning Glory seeds cos OH loves them -then he decided to get some special sort of compost type stuff for growing veg...............Poundstretcher.........got some tea lights (don't know why but they seem a bit thin on the ground everywhere else) and a little apron for grandson's birthday to go with his 'chefs' hat I got as a freebie. Was going to make one from a tea towel but the apron was only £1.99 -I'd have had to buy more tea towels to get one that would look right with the hat.
Little card shop with some lovely stuff in........could have spent a bomb but OH sort of 'hovers' in shops like that so I ended up with some paper with music on for my scrapbook and some black and white letters so I can put 'recipes' on foster daughters index card recipe box.
Then..........wonder of all wonder..........he asked me if I wanted to pop to Dunelm Mills !!! (shop he can't bear going in)........off like a shot to get some cushions for the kitchen chairs.
Didn't have to wait long for his scan so not a bad day:o

Angela - dont know about any 'unusual' boxes really......I've covered the usual shoe boxes, twiglets tubes, empty Cappacino boxes, index card boxes (2), A5 size box file, small hat box, pens and now I'm on to small boxes........determined to find a use for all my empty tablet boxes now.

elysia - the key ring was out of my own head but most of the rest come from things on the Crafts thread or blogs and such like -the general idea is to spend as little as possible particularly now OH can't work. Moneys short and it's surprising what you can concoct out of bits laying round the house.

Can someone remind me what the March challenge is ? I can't find it
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
