I did the Body Shop offer yesterday.. BRILLIANT!!
Looking forward to many more bargains!! xx
Hi Pink Mummy
A big welcome to the thread, the 1st couple of posts explains everything, and every month on the 24th their a new challenge set - called Santas Challenge, and Sarah is doing the crafting postings for suggestions tohelp with Valentines day, Mothers day, Easter etc, as my crafting is very limited!!
The links are on the front posts (bit slow at putting the links on), don't worry if the challenges look daunting, I just say think as them as a pick and mix sweet shop, not everybody likes coffee cremes, but some like dolly mixtures, so thats the thought behind the big lists!!
Post with anything and everything, suggestions, I'm stuck, I've found a bargain... or just a hi.
xx

Hello all :j
No dizzy spells today (relief!) but woke up with stinking headache that just doesn't want to go no matter what I do or don't do.
Havent done much though............covered another cappacino box for foster daughters egg box of bath bombs to go in for easter and fiddled with sons birthday card.........felt it needed a bit of finishing off.
Another idea for socks ! Year before last I got some kiddies socks from charity shop (they were ok as they hadn't been worn much)...........stuffed them with herbs then got some kiddies shoes (also from charity shop -pence they were) put socks inside shoes (actually I think I did that first then filled them with herbs) -tied them round the top nice and tight with longish piece of cord and gave them for pressies to sons and teenage grandson to pop inside their shoes -make them smell nice.............least that was the general idea but had to explain to one son what they were for...........lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all, I joined this thread at Chritmas but haven't been around for a while, hope you're all having a good 2010 so far.
I'm just looking at Halfcost for the first time and had a (probably daft) question - I'm thinking of buying this:
http://www.halfcost.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=11&productId=42367&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=11201&categoryId=11301&cache_entry=-1
But I don't want one with 'Christopher' written on it! Will it come blank? Thanks xx"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good weekend.
Hello Saffstar and Pink Mummy
Thanks Mary and Sarah for all the socks ideas. Some good ones which I'll be using. When I read your herb idea Mary, I was expecting it to be a growing kit! Although I suppose it could be as I've seen Alan Titchmarsh using old jumpers for hanging baskets so socks would probably do for those hanging bags..
Pammy I've also had your dilemma of washing new socks and some of them disappear. I used to clip them together but that became a hassle to remember. I've got one shelf of my airing cupboard full of socks
Loopychriss - and scissors LOL.
Mary - get better soon - that's an order!
I had a very strange episode just before I left the house today. Last night I dyed my hair and thought I'd better check none of the dye was left, so cleaned round my face, neck and chest with rosewater. Shock of life  red blotches all over. I think it's the pills I've been taking from the dentist for an abcess as earlier in the week I noticed some red spots.. Luckily it faded quite a bitonce I went outside.
Sarah hope you get your printer fixed.
Mum2One - lucky you, a break from this nasty weather. Hope you find some bargains for your present stash as well as something for you. My goodness, the size of that baby!0 -
Don't know if Alton towers is any gd for a day out,
