Pammy, did you want to do the day out as a family? My daughter's 16th was spent at a theme park with her friends. Mine you it depends how far away one is from you - Drayton Manor is less than half an hour away from us.
As for gifts - does he have an ipod? Even if he has one the new Nano is much better and he can pass the old one on to one of the others.
Mary - you take care won't you?
Cellotape AND Scissors go missing in our house. I've lost count of the number of pairs of scissors I have bought to replace lost ones, only to find those go missing as well.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Mrs Sow - what's with the ribbon phobia?
Mary - hope you're better, I wonder if the A & E are on alert?
Sellotape hole. I don't have that it's the socks that worry me. I have hundreds of odd ones. The only idea I have is to use them to plump up some flat cushions...
Apart from toys which I don't need for anyone, what else can I do with the socks?
I end up with loads of odd socks too, but they come in handy for dusting and cleaning windows. You could also fill them up with something smelly tie them in a knot and leave in your draws and wardrobes to make your clothes smell nice, I keep odd one in the tool box as well for when I'm painting good for wiping drips up so you dont ruin any cloths, I'm sure there are lots of other things to do with them will have to have a look;):D:D:D:D

thanks elysia for the reply, he does have an ipod already (which he constantly has attached to his ear!!). My family are in Coventry and we have been Drayton Manor many times.
Great ideas for the socks. I have a sock box FULL of odd socks. I can even buy a pack of five new pairs and I dont think all five even get through a wash in tact. I just dont know where they go!!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

I was at Coventry today - so it's ironic that you mentioned it. I have family in Crick. Is that far from you?
