Hello all :j
Just brief visit due to dizzy spell earlier on today..........doctors on monday I think to have ears checked again.
Not done much today except varnish the other side of foster daughters pebbles, had free samples of tea so made a little wallet for them and popped them in sons birthday shoe box and found envelope that fits little grandsons easter card.
Hopefully I'll feel like doing more tomorrow;)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Small postable ideas for Mother's day - My first thought was jewellery. Depending on what she wears, I would recommend checking charity shops. I had a quick look today and they have loads of really nice stuff for only a few pounds. I bought my MIL a gorgeous necklace for CHristmas that cost £2 from a charity shop. I saw a very similar one for £17!!
Sellotape - I really do believe there is a sellotape black hole in my kitchen drawer. Usually I can't open the drawer for all the rolls of tape in it, unless of course I'm opening it to get the tape and then it all seems to disappear!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -

MF new target Dec 16 REACHED!! :j0 -
Mrs Sow - what's with the ribbon phobia?
Mary - hope you're better, I wonder if the A & E are on alert?
Sellotape hole. I don't have that it's the socks that worry me. I have hundreds of odd ones. The only idea I have is to use them to plump up some flat cushions...
Apart from toys which I don't need for anyone, what else can I do with the socks?0 -
Angela - bet they are at this rate but I'm not going back there...........no way:eek:
Feel ok now and taking it really steady - off to sit on the sofa soon and watch some tele.
What condition are the socks Angela (not being rude but mine, if I've worn them are just fit for the bin....lol)
I bought some cheap ones last year and used them for little hats on snowmen I'd made out of empty gravy tubs. Cut just below the heel and use the foot piece or cut above the heel and use the ankle part with a ribbon round the top, but like a ski hat.
Hand puppets ? Used to do that with my kids........no need to cut anything, just stick some goggle eyes on and stitch a few strands of wool on the heel and with a bit of hand movement you can get it looking as if its talking.............:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
