I think, it really depends on what type of person you are and whether you dont mind a statement or two. It woudnt be a big statement really, just different. I quite like it :)

I am discusted in myself :(
I have got really carried away on the Debenhams website, free postage coupled with a 20% discount and amazing bargains on nine west and miss KG...
Resulting in FIVE pairs of shoes brought :( and a Coast Shrug Brought.
I might keep the coast shrug as ive needed a new shrug for a long time and it will be used plenty.
But those shoes costing god knows how much are going back :(
I never used to even like fashion, so who would have thought id have such a serious shopping addiction! :(

  • I would wear orange and Navy together so Id vote a yes to that question...

I have been good and ebayed a few more items this weekend so hoping to clear some room and get some spending money

NGlady just think of it this way - that you are realising how much you spend...whereas before you may have kept all the shoes and not bothered at the cost.I find internet shopping addictive as it doesnt seem like 'real shopping'.I was awful december as I just ordered loads...but then reality hit and it all went back and I felt tons better. I make a point of not looking anymore then the temptations not there. Its hard though espeially when you find discount codes as I find it makes me 'need to order more to save more money!'

Loads of uncommon clothes colour combos can look really good - pink and brown, blue and brown, black and orange, whatever takes your fancy really. Who cares what's 'in'? Style and a good eye are beyond fashion.

Good one willa, cos I've been trying everything on with a pair of brown trousers and just about everything goes, even my red cardi and shoes! My room still resembles a tip, but two boxes filled for charity now, yeah!

Ha, I know, I've got far too many clothes but tend to rigidly wear certain combos and then sometimes wear something different by accident that looks really great!
Always trying to have a clearout and not buy any more things I don't need......:wall:

Thats very true - in the past, if I spent say a fiver and it didn't suit me, id just class it as a fiver lost, now I take it back, even if it was a great saving. I just feel really embarrised when I return things i've ordered online and need to take back, I look like a poor shoppaholic lol. It is true though, especially now debenhams have saved my details, enter security code and there mineee lol.

Don't be embarrassed taking things back NGlady, goodness knows how many things I buy then return, usually the next day, for me it's a waste of petrol and time, OH cracks up at me, but hey at least I'm getting my money back. I used to have LaRedoute years ago and would order £100's of pounds worth and return most of it (or keeping tops in 10 different colours, the last of which is now gone to charity) yeah!

Lol yes I know. Whenever I buy something at the moment, my mums like "Oh thats nice Laura" in the next breath "So when you taking that back" lol. I have this need when I go into town, that I just need to buy something, I think it is the need to carry a carrier bag around (does that sound daft? lol) but when im in town, wondering round I feel out of place until i've brought something...

Definitely not daft, I finished my Christmas shopping in November last year, then was gutted when I seen everyone else shopping that I started buying myself things. My OH looks at me suspiciously if I have no bags, even worse when I get home if I have bought something, I hide all the little bags in a bigger one so my neighbour (and friend) doesn't see - I'm always telling her I'm skint!
