Made a dent in my clothes budget today ..... a whole 50p! Browsing round a charity shop for books and found a pair of black trousers, size 18, on the reduced rail. I need some different trousers, I'm currently living in 1 of 3 pairs, and one of those is a tatty pair of jeans with a hole in the knee. Didn't try them on as we had an appointment with the bank very soon, so just bought them. Just tried them on, and they won't even get up as far as my bum! Closer inspection of the size - they're a 16, not 18. I thought I was being optimistic to think I'd get in an 18! So..... they'll be relegated to the back of the wardrobe along with all the other clothes that are too small - and I will be starting my diet next Monday!!!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

I must declare a 25.10 spend
This was spent on the "perfect black dress" which I brought from coast @ Debenhams Online
Wow, that dress is gorgeous! Is the sash removable? So if you wanted you could update it some time in the future with a different coloured sash or a nice wide belt?

I have spent £31.27 on some bikinis for my honeymoon. I originally got some from Primark but they didn't fit so had to do some emercency shopping at the airport. I took the Primark ones back and that money has now been refunded.Debt at lightbulb moment (18 Aug 2009) 30933.95,Debt 1 July 2011 £9663.71Debt free date[STRIKE]February 2017[/STRIKE] September 20160

That is a lovely dress NGLady.
Got paid on Friday and didn't rush to buy anything like I normally do so this is obviously doing me a lot of good. Am currently being tempted by some nice little trainers but I don't need them...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Hi all,
Blooming freezing day today, had a small meltdown when I realized the skirt I was dying to wear doesn't match anything in my wardrobe! No spend, but acquired four silk scarves from sister's MIL's house clearance and a fuchsia cardigan from mum that is too big for her - it is also too big for me, so will go on eBay! Have made £35 profit off sister's cast offs on so far.
Plan on shopping tomorrow with mum as she needs new trousers for going to Australia, psyching myself up for the onslaught of 'mum clothes' she is going to shove at me saying 'isn't this nice? You should buy this' - not to be ungrateful or anything, but no thanks! I know I'm a size 16 but I don't have to start dressing in muumuus quite yet! :rotfl:"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

Evening All!
Still not purchased anything more ! Quiet pleased ! yay!:j
A good friend of mine came round other night and I showed her my "new" wardrobe as I told her I had been "shopping" -she was so impressed with what I have done I am off round to hers tonight to help her "find new" clothes in her wardrobe too!
Wonder if we could make a living out of it?lol
Will let you know how we get on!

Hi all,
i had my first spent today - although it wasn't actually a spend but i'm very proud of myself so thought i would share. I had a Monsoon coupon for £10 of (any extra spend would have to go on a store card which is cut into pieces and has a £0 balance) I was determined to use it to not lose it but it was due to run out - i decided on have a good look around , if i brought a bag or scarf it probably wouldn't get used so i ended up buying socks!!!!
And for all that are thinking on puting bits on ebay last week (as some of you may remember) i put 70 items on ebay well i made £370 which is going to PAY OFF my CC!!!
Well done Fairysnow :T, GBP370.00 to PAY OFF your credit card is brilliant news, and very inspirational. Congrats!0
