    Hello you wonderful ladies,

I've finally done the spending updates after some truly hectic weeks at work.

Well done for getting so far before bowing out to :

circlingthedrain, gratefulforhelp & Swinstie73, you are all amazing for taking part in the challeeng & I hope that you have saved lots of money & learned stuff since being here :A.

To all those who have new clothes - I wish you much happiness :j *said through envious & gritted teeth ;)*

I'm not letting my final 40p go easily & have been avoiding both real shops & ebay to protect it. Tomorrow I need to go to town & have promised myself a visit to TKMaxx  dont panic - I'm only looking for homeware bargains :p.

I've not lost any weight or inches so all the boring work clothes that I wore last year will still fit :(.

Sarahangel I really admire your using clothes challenge money to buy maternity clothes ... BUT - I really dont think they should count, unles you want them too.

Keep up the good work ladies :A

    Hi everyone,

I think I have £11 pounds to declare... I bought a belt and some new shoes as part of two mystery shops a few weeks ago, the fee more than covers the purchases but I will probably declare the full fee on the £10 a day challenge and don't want to cheat!

Also bought a fab dress for OH's sister's wedding (wore my only nice wedding outfit to his cousin's wedding already!) but was really really pleased as it was only £15 in Debenhams and I had £13.50 in vouchers.

So a total of £12.50 to add. Am thinking I will have to hit the CS for some warm winter woolies so I can stay toasty and in budget!

  • Well, mine is going well. So far I spent £0. I found a camel coloured Next suede jacket in my cupboard that I bought about eight years ago, it's pretty cool. I forgot about it. It's nice, makes me feel very louche.

On the downside, my brown leather loafers which were about £22 from Asda last year are increasingly falling apart on the sole. Probably because I wear them for everything - work, casual, etc. I'll look on eBay for some new ones once I have completely worn out these.

Happy New clothes shrimpy & well done omnirife for shopping in your own wardrobe , like the sound of being 'louche' too ;)

I have dilemma that is wreaking havoc with my conscience ... :undecided

I have a yearning for a fabby leather flying jacket - used to have one back in the 80's but must have chucked it out :(. There are many varieties about & the one I really want is £325 from Topshop ... is it an omen of good fortune & destiny that my Topshop card has a balance of £0 & a limit of £350 ? The other one I like is £150 from River Island.

Why are neither of these shops on Quidco .

Is there any way at all that I can justify purchasing either of these ? :D

are you mad woman????of course you need one,how come they are sooo cheap,is it the end of the sale????these are shops I don't go in(seem too young/loud music) but for that price leather jacket I may well be tempted:rotfl:

had to go to town to bravissimmo to get checked for bra size.thought I was getting smaller as bands were lose and rubbing,BUTgone from 36f to 36ff!!!!!!could not believe how long it had been since last checked, lady said the bra I bought last was discontinued over 1 year ago(shame it was a great fit)
my new resolution is not to buy lots of new bras in various col, ours as have now got a drawfull of bras that don't fit now and if (as the lady said) you can change shape in 6 months seems daft to buy lots in one size.So now only have 1 bra that officially fits:((black stand up on its own t shirt one)even though I was fitted I still have the side/back boobs which she said nothing can avoid:(:(:(.
did look on brastop for a new cheap beige bra but nothing I fancied and they charge for returns:(:(also ff is harder to find the f:(:(:(

    I have lots to declare...

a black and white animal print shift dress £5.75
a silk spotted Jaeger skirt £2.99
a Lux (urban outfitters) short sleeve black cotton jumper with cut away back £2
and a windcheater, very mod in black and red check, scottish £4.

But even more amazingly than that... I have just checked my email after a week away and a magazine company have contacted me to say that I have won a £1,500 wardrobe!!!!!!!!!! I am in shock, it is one year to the month that I started the £100 crazy dress challenge, and now I am getting designer gear worth 15 years worth of dress challenge! I am touching wood, hoping it is not a hoax, and will update when I know more. My sister thinks it is a gift from the universe for being so frugal with my clothes for a year.

    (Please don't hate me guys)
