Yup I know about the perils of ebay buying Rosemary, I go through phases of being tempted by stuff and then end up charity shopping it or trying to resell it on ebay......A wide belt wouldn't be that bad a buy particularly if it would go with other things that you wear.

Since my last post, which I was yonks ago, I have accumulated:o:

Two skirts for £20 the two in Lands End sale...I really don't like them and this will at last cure me of buying stuff from Lands End sale e-mails

One shirt £ 15 from Lands End sale....see my above comment, at least I quite like this.

Vintage silk blouse from a charity shop day out in Cambridge £2.95
East over shirt Norwich charity shop £ 3.95
Blouse Norwich charity shop £ 3.95

I think this means I may have to do some creative accounting...off to check:rotfl:

No, I am still hanging in there....need to list some things on ebay!!!

Scooting in to let you know I spent £16 on a pair of denim shorts and 3 tops, sig updated :)
  • Well, Glastonbury is just few weeks away, so did a little preparatory shopping. I don't want to take things I care too much about getting trashed/soaked/through/stolen so went to primark for a few things: white shirt, jersey waistcoat, scarf and hat, £18 more to declare.

Pretty pleased with my progress, as I used to spend huge amounts on clothes, and we're half-way through the year (although I only joined two months ago). :D

was so good today:A despite quidco offering 10% cashback AND having a 20% coupon I decided not to buy anything from Wallis:):):)

have to go to town next week to hunt for a belt to cover the high waist on the 40s ebay dress as the dance is on the 19th but will try to avoid any buys except for using Next coupon maybe
  • Thanks girls, I AM counting shoes though! I thinking adding money to the fund is inspired! I have had to buy a new pair of trousers and a new skirt as I don't fit into some of my old favourites anymore and since they are a size 4-6 I don't mind - I am glas to be a size 6-8 even if it does mean spending a bit more! So my new total is £121.71! Arggghhhh!

£2.99 to declare on a lightweight, navy blue waterfall cardigan. I really wanted one, and saw this one yesterday in the charity shop - what swung it is the dimante wings on the back! I like an unusual clothing item!

Am surprised to find nearly half way through the challenge I still have £67.20 left to spend :A. The first few months this year, i really felt like I would go over. I think the last couple of months I have been so busy at work and at the weekends I have not had time to go near any clothing shops...

I did buy £3.50 worth of jewellery from a tabletop sale the other day though, and am looking at some sandals for summer :o but in general I'd say my spending is now much more under control.
