FlickeringEmber, I really hope all your hard work pays off, you deserve it. Your posts are tiring me out just reading everything you've been doing.
Well done.
Thanks so much; at the moment, I have:
178 books listed for sale on Greenmetropolis
93 items listed on eBid, which will be donated to charity if they don't sell at the end of their 7 day listing; I've started every auction from 1p so there's nothing more I can do to encourage sales.
2 DVDs waiting to build a few more up to sell to CEX
A mixed bag of stuff waiting to be taken to Cash Converters
More things to list on eBid over the next few days; clothes and shoes mainly.0 -
I am quite excited I spent my first bit of money this year on clothes. I went to an op shop and brought a black skirt to wear to a funeral, a striped calico shirt and a great pair of jeans all for $17 so i am very pleased. TBH I dont think I've spent money on clothes in over 2 years so it was nice getting something new, well not new but new to me:DThailand 3010/15000 20150

Currently listing even more items on eBid; I think I'll have at least 150 on there in total by the end of the weekend. So far, 7 out of the 93 already there this morning had bids on them...0

OK, I have to admit it. I found a lovely coat in BHS (a few days ago but I've only just got the nerve to admit it!), I had a £20 gift card, the coat was down from £35 to £28 then 20% off (I just can't pay full price anymore:)) so a sum total spent of
£2.40
So why do I feel like I've let myself down?????????? I guess it's because I really did not need it, but the colour just called out! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
£3.49 to add please Lula-Hula. Got a brown and white graphic large print skirt, from a local charity shop just H&M originally but I really rate their skirts!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Hmmm, today: £20 on 2 tops from New Look (cost £30 but I exchanged a pair of trousers I bought for work the day before I lost my job! so got £10).
But in my defence, I do honestly know EXACTLY what I have because I've spent an entire week sorting through my worldy goods including clothes, shoes and accessories.0 -
Well I've finally got around to swapping my winter wardrobe for my summer one, there's not actually much difference really :rotfl:
A pair of jeans finally went into the bin, as to continue wearing them would have been obscene, and a pair of jeans which had a panel in which supposedly 'perked' up one's botty had the opposite effect and actually flattened it so they've got to the charity shop.
Which leaves me with one pair of jeans
Times are getting desparate!:(0 -
no clothes bought for a few weeks but just back from hols to find 2 mags with 20% off Wallis and East:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
did surprise myself on hols by just how few clothes I wore despite poor weather....OH and I shared a case and were still under the 20 kilo limit!0 -
rosemary54 -Welcome back! Despite the weather on holidya I hope you had a lovely time! Not sure if you could but why not ebay the vouchers - get temptation out of the way!
I had to go into town at lunch time and I passed my fav charity shop and there was the most gorgeouw summer dress from J Taylor in the doorway - pretty dusky orange and pale grey flowers easy to wear cotton dress - only £4.50 in excellent hardly worn condition - but it isn't the jeans that I need so I left it!
It was just sooooo tempting- really hard to leave it there but I did - I could feel all of you behind me tutting and scowling at me! :rotfl:Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

2/3 of my clothes, shoes and accessories have now been either donated to charity, sold, or binned. I can breathe again!! :0)0
