I love York, Debbie. Really do. Been there twice in the last year. Beautiful city.
No new spends but have started to declutter and have already found a top for charity which is too small for me.0 -
FirstTimeSaver - frankly, I wouldnt count that hen night t shirt - it's not like you wanted it for yourself
Hiya Lula-Hula, Yay!!!! I will deduct the amount of my total, I was gutted about my first spend being for a top I'd never wear again.
I still haven't got any spends to declare!! I am in shock, just wanna thank Lula-Hula and everyone on this thread as I didn't think that it would be possible.
Might have a challenge coming up over summer as I have 3 weddings and 3 hen do's to go to!!!!! I know arrrggghhh!!! Trying to think up what wedding outfits I can wear (luckily I am bridemaid at one so that is 1 outfit sorted!!) :j

LfV  I think I might have cried at the tumble drier eating my favourite top!
Debbiedeejay - did you get my vibes? Were they strong enough to stop you spending? It's a fair trek from Glasgow to York so I dunno how much they might have weakened before reaching you!
Nothing to declare guv! But did want to brag about my fabulous Bench denim skirt that I swapped on BW. I definitely did well out of that one! And once I got past it being short, I went out and danced the night away in it.
I also forgot to mention the free pair of Birkenstock's I managed to acquire! My friend has just moved back into her flat after renting it out for the last two or three years, and there they were, sitting waiting for me. (They're not her size.) The last tenant was a bloke so unless he stole them from a lady friend, we're guessing they weren't his so they've been unloved for a long time - not any more! I even painted my toe nails for them!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Pending out (going to charity tomorrow): A pair of my housemate's shoes, my big silver tote bag, that top I mentioned before and a red hoodie and I've not even really begun the decluttering of my clothes. I definitely don't want to buy anything new clotheswise for the foreseeable future despite wanting more...I don't really need it and have other uses for my money...0

Had a fab day - looked round all the clothes shops we normally don't go into (East,Coast,Monsoon, hobbs,Browns,Jack Wills,Miss Selfridges,Top Shop etc) and looked at clothes with ridiculous price tags on so I knew I was safe there!

It was really good fun. DD's both had shopping list of what they were needing and they stuck to them - there was only one impulse buy from DD3 on a pair of socks - but we actually walked away from them twice and had a cuppa to discuss why and why nots of buying them - and actually DD3 bought them herself and had saved money already on buying a cheaper version of a bag (to use everyday at school) from New Look (£14) compared to the one first seen in Monsoon at £32!
Did buy DD2 her dress for presentation evening this month - but it is current style in Miss Selfridges at £38 but reduced to £12 as the zip come away from fabric at base of dress - no fraying or tearing a simple repair that her costume designer sister says she is happy to do - plus its one that looks like top and skirt in black top and a bold black/white stripe short tulip stylish skirt so is fairly versatile anyway.
DD2 bought shoes that she needed for uni(every day leather brown brogues from office in sale) and the bras she needed.
And I bought No Clothes at all for me!:T
But did buy mini travel straighteners from Top Shop for a tenner but thats for all of us to use if we ever go away - oh and remnant piece of oilcloth form Kath Kidston for £6 - enough to make a tote bag ,a mini lunch bag and a few keyrings or coasters me think - so quite pleased reallyCrazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

Well, 11 hours after I started, I've got rid of loads of clutter although it did depress me only getting 1/4 back of the value of some items and 1% of the original price (10p for a £9.99 CD) but at least they're gone, so I have more space etc. Sent off 3 books I sold on Greenmetropolis.com as well.
Got rid of: Tote bag, 1 t shirt, 1 top, housemate's pair of shoes, and binned a pair of pants. Also got rid of other stuff such as a DVD rack.0 -
