Still no more spends to declare .....................but only just:o
Not had my car for a month as it has been very poorly but its mended now and I "popped" into town to hopefully get my hair cut(only a dry cut mind you- I now colour it at home) as I am at a wedding tomorrow.
Isn't it so easy though to feel really good about yourself after a hair cut and think "ooooerrr I fancy a new this and that to go with my hair and it is a wedding after all!"?
So off I trot passing through lots of pretty shops with nice enticing displays of gorgeous summery bits and bobs................................ I did pick through a few dresses and tops and a couple of jeans (still looking for a new pair to replace ones I have) but then all of a sudden I felt really guilty and I know a few others have mentioned this - about even thinking of buying them as it was a "want" rather than a "need" - so shoved them all back on the racks and walked out.
May I now apologize to the poor assistant TKM** who now has to re-sort them and put them all back on the right racks but I was not going to buy them just because I felt I wanted them or because I have just had my hair cut!
.................I bought an apple pasty instead(in fact 2 for 69p) :rotfl:Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

Afternoon All
Not bought anything for ages, and then a huge spree in one go, I've been out with my mum (deadly!) and got a bonus at work, so I've splurged, though a lot isn't included as its work stuff I deperately needed, two pairs of shoes, trousers and two tops, I also bought two pairs of crop trouers to see me through the summer at £25 so I;m going to declare those.
Takes my total to £61Debt free 11/05/11!
Savings £4000/ £3000 -
Hello you fabulous ladies
Yet more apologies for another long absence ... However,
WELCOME :hello: to JoRourke - may you find & sanctuary from the shopping demons here
HAPPY NEW CLOTHES to all who have them - by whatever means
Rosemayry54 & Picasso2 - of course we all want you to stay with us :A, And anyway, I am about 99% confident that I am not going to stay within budget this year -even though I have been buying pre-owned items. Clearly I set mine too low this year :rotfl:as so much of my stuff is just not suitable for work wear & this beautiful warm weather has really had me struggling to stay cool & decent.
I cannot get myself off ebay at the moment but have now turned my attention to DDs wardrobe. I've always been a bit precious about buying her pre-owned stuffbut after the bargainous C.H dress & the spotty mac from ebay I decided to give it a go. WOW is my first reaction, for the small sum of £29.64 I have got her 5 dresses, 2 pairs of shorts, 4 tops & skirt & a brand new swimsuit, all items either Next, H&M or New Look which are her usual shops of choice.
She loves getting parcels & I admit to feeling a glow of eco-pride about reusing items.
I have now sorted all our unwanted stuff into piles for either charity shop or ebay & plan to spend some quality time with my wardrobe this weekend, trying to create some new outfits ...0 -
Hello everyone, I am feeling very sorry for myself at the moment. Part of my total spend this year was on a very cute navy cardian (think it was £14 with a voucher?) which I managed to lose on the way to work last week... Needless to say I am deeply distressed at the thought that someone is currently walking around wearing 14% of my annual budget! No-one in 'real life' is entirely sympathetic so I thought I would share my sad news with you lovely ladies in a shameless attempt at sympathy grabbing!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0

don't worry too much I am sure we will let you replace it with no extra "charge" to the budget:rotfl:.....I am so over spent that I don't care anymore:rotfl::rotfl:...sales here I come.
I have been looking at all the online sales and picking out what I like but not actually buying, this gives me time to reflect on what I really want and hopefully I will not buy so much when I hit the shops!0 -
