went to buy a black belt to go with ebay dress for dance, got 1 for £8 whcih I am not counting as only got it to go to the danc eand technically it is not in the clothes catagory:rotfl:

BUT was bad and bought a skirt and top in Kalico sale....skirt £21 (down from £75) and top £24 (down from £35).....lost track of my (-)total now but am still better than I used to be as only bought things I really likes and am sure will wear:)

p.s also bought a teddy bear!!!!!!just cos he looked sweet and was very soft(like me!):rotfl:
  • Haven't been here for ages........and TBH I think that's a good thing as it means no spending :rotfl:

However..............George tempted me last night. Spent £17 on socks, leggings and a gorgeous teal (my fave colour at the moment) summer dress which will be worn loads.

    New total is £78.46 :o.
Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

  • I am sooo jealous of those who managed to get a decent jumble sale....there is just none near me :(...But well done for all those who got the bargains:T.

Anyway had a thought yesterday - have got a couple of "do's" coming up and was trying to remember what I had worn at them which at the moment I can but I can see there could be a problem further down the line of me just not remembering what I have worn for what function( and its just not the thing to turn up wearing the same thing with the same people if you get my drift).

I remember ages a go watching a tv program about some socialite years ago and she used to have labels on her posh dress hangers - the presenter asked her why and basically she wrote on the label the function and date attended so she wouldn't turn up wearing the same thing to the same function or with the same people!

So am off to either use brown parcel labels on my hangers or even make some up from back of old birthday cards and use pretty ribbon to tie them on .....could even go further and make little sachets of smellies to tie to it .....

Well I 'll get round to it at some point anyway:rotfl:

Oh and still no spends ...can't find any jeans that I like - but I found my dog walking jacket that I thought I had lost! Hurrah!

    hi all

welcome to the gang omnirife and jo rourke!

Well i still haven't spent anything as yet, but i've been so tempted its unreal. Debenhams have another sale on  and i love the clothes from there. But i will persevere and NOT crack.
Sold some clothes on ebay, which were far too small for me. Rescued a pair of trousers (yay i've lost two pounds :j:j) so i'm very happy about that.

So that i still have £88 left :T to spend in debenhams :rotfl:.

It 's that time of the year again:eek::eek::eek:.....I mean the "dreaded" sales:rotfl:made even worse by emails from all my fav shops showing me their bargains,I just love buying new clothes:D:D:Dtelling myself to a/wait till the weather cools down to go to town(major event for me as takes at least an hour with park and ride)and b/allow myself to shop onlinebut don't press the final button!!!!!!

Have actually been "shopping" in the wardrobe a lot recently and found some new looks(but still does not satisfy my addiction!!!!!!!)
  • No April spends for me :T

Tumble dryer chewed up my favourite cheesecloth/embroided top yesterday so not happy :( . Was probably my fault for putting it in the tumble dryer. Still......one less top in the wardrobe. Makes deciding what to wear a smidgen bit easier! :)

Went into British Heart Foundation CS today. I found another top EXACTLY the same as my ruined one :T:T:T:T

Am really happy about that (can you tell?)

Also bought a NEXT top, a total of £7.49. Grand total is now £85.95. Thanks Lula.

Still hoping to keep under budget for the year, only £14.05 to go and six months to last  (but still a lot better than last year and I think that is what counts to me :))

It is for £22, and I bought a lovely strapless maxi dress from Peacocks which is gonna be perfect for my hliday in a few weeks. I felt extremely naughty buying some clothes!!
