Happy New Clothes & extra well-done to those without any purchases!
I went to the Trafford Centre with my friend last week, but I was very well behaved! I bought a much needed pair of pumps for £15 & spent about £40 at La Senza - but on basic white bras & knickers (to replace the grey ones I was wearing! Neither of these count  !!!
I have to say a big thank you to you all for the support! It really does make a huge difference! I tried on a couple of tops which were both nice, only cost about £22 in total - but I wasn't overwhelmed, so I didn't bother! My friend on the other hand had decided that she needed some new work clothes, didn't really think much of what she was buying, but as it was only £7 she might as well buy it anyway  I just can't do that anymore!!! I tried to explain this to her, but there was no convincing her !
Thanks all!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

Just thought I'd pop in and say :hello: while I'm waiting for TD to finish. Lots of lovely ironing awaits....
No more spends for me since I joined this thread :T . Have been trying really hard as I want to reach my NSD total of 15 for my first 'official' month of trying. SIL gave DD some clothes from which I have 'borrowed' three pairs of pumps (Niece has same size feet as me). A nice surprise and will be great for the summer.
TD has now finished so... must.... prise..... myself..... away.... from......... computer.....:(Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Went into my blanket box at end of my bed the other night and found loads of clothes I had forgotton about agghhh!- but looking at them I put them in there with intention of ebaying them - so theres another job to do.
Found a couple of dresses DD1 bought a while back - Brand New never worn, still with tags on - an urban outfitters (£49) and a Bay one (£24) so have given them back to her to either wear or ebay.
Went into town today but couldn't find teal dye to dye the pashmina so it will have to be bright flamingo pink instead!
Wanted a hair accessory /facinator within budget of £5ish -did find a really pretty pink feather and rosy flower thing for £4.99 but instead used my B**ts points to buy a feather shaped hair slide by Ba**lis in a silver & marcosite instead,so that saved me £5.55 - I'll get more use out it I think then a huge pink feather/flower thing!
Went in loads of clothes shops -Top shop(just love the lacy pastel vintage look- but mutton dressed as lamb or the Mad -Aunty- look comes to mind!) & Next were very tempting but stuck to my list of what I needed.:T

Managed to dispose of a coat, an odd sock, the partner of which has been MIA for over a year, and a pair of old pants which are way past their best. Still doing more decluttering but also saving up for a new pair of summer sandals, possibly, as I need to get ones with good ankle support due to a previous accident.0

Hey everyone,
gosh you're all so good :A that I'm almost embarassed to be declaring my own spends.
Inspite of my last ebay experience with the dodgy [STRIKE]rag[/STRIKE]dress, I couldnt resist bidding on some River Island jeans ... I won both items & although it was £15 for both pairs I had £6 from completed surveys in my paypal account so the total cost is in fact a mere £9I'm now hoping that they are as nice as the look, then I will be delighted with such bargainous jeans.
I'll keep you updated on the sods law diet :rotfl:
bye for now0 -
Lula - don't mention ebay jeans....
The ones I declared on here arrived and are too short - even though apparently they are the same size as my other topshop jeans????!
The seller wouldn't take returns so having to sell them on - doubt I'll make my money back, not impressed! May have to hunt through wardrobe (again) to see if there's anything I can sell to make up the difference...NOT happy.Clearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000 -
Grrrr sympathies to you niksyg, ebay is a bit of lottery; great when it works in your favour, but just a waste of money when it doesnt
Could you perhaps turn the jeans into cropped ones ?0
