Hello!
Was given a lovely black pringle thin sweater yesterday, as it doesn't fit mum anymore - hurrah for free clothes!
Desperately need some new 'everyday' underwear, and I am including mine in total. Going to have a look in A$da later or Mr T I think.
I also really really need a new pair of jeans as my favourite ones are really dying nowthey came from Topshop a few years ago and I don't think they make that style anymore, so the hunt is on!

Hi Lula,
just to say that I am not spending any money on clothes for myself...yet
DD & BF have set the date for next Spring, so this week I am mostly spending money on bridesmaids dresses: 2 for £40 on Ebay :j (DD has some clothes to sell so we think we can make the bms money neutral:D)I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Hello all,
sorry to disappoint you rosemary54 - but NO ONE gets thrown off the challengeso, you either stick around & keep confessing your luscious spends or you bow out gracefully - please dont though, I like to live vicariously

Hello & welcome to newcomers Winchelsea & Sallymander :hello:.

Loving the teal & fuschia combination, 2 of my favourite colours
Off to update the list again ...
thank you Lula for not throwing me off:rotfl:I do not go shopping all that often but when I do!!!I live an hour away from nearest good shopping town so that does limit me a lot and I almost never pay full price as tend to go for expensive brands these days,I think younger women can get away with more "disposable" items but the term mutton and lamb seem to apply when I try that:rotfl:
was soooo tempted by a top in next, very pretty pink flowers and bright green leaves on beige BUT it was a/ sleevless,b/ tight and c/ pink is so not my colour!!!!!also saw some pretty tops in Primark but again thought they were too young for me:(....did however buy 2 bath towels at £3 each to take on hols as beach towels as our hotel charges 1 euro a day for 1 so even if i leave them behind if I buy stuff there will still gain:) apparently they were tested by GH mag and got a good report.0 -
Hi everyone, my only spend to declare since last time is £2.70 on some tights - which are annoyingly now even cheaper in the Debenhams sale - oops!

Cheers

Just to declare £29 spent on a new pair of jeans on ebay (£45 new). I am not too bothered as they are the same as my old ones (which I have had for 4 years) and they are really starting to show their age (bottoms are shredded and there are holes in the pockets and crotch!!Clearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000

rosemary54 - aww you got to stay with us - yes you were lured into East and spent money (but the clothes do sound fab-very classy & great material choice!)but as you said this challenge has helped so many for the first time to really look at their shopping for clothes habits - and to control them!
So stick with us - When you went shopping that day have you thought how you felt? What I mean is did you go with the intention of having to find new holiday clothes or because of the 20% off coupon lured you in or were you just feeling fed up?
Sometimes if we have had a "bad" day/week we buy new clothes to lift our spirits or we just panic because something important is on the horizon (in your case holiday) and feel that the clothes we already we own may not live upto that new experience-
day off work today - so off to hunt out those teal shoes I have stashed away and one of the cream pashmina types throws/cover up. Need to check label to see if I can dye it first and then am off to see if I can find a matching dye.
