I got 2 pairs of PJ bottoms from Tesco at £5 each but these were needed as I live in them; I spend most of my time at home lounging around in PJs. Other than this, I have nothing to declare.0

Debs how impressive. I can't do traveeling light at all. I even need a huge handbag and a seperate carrier bag to go to work!!! When I holiday repped my mates all had to help with my tons of bags/cases/washing baskets etc!!!
Funny thing is I thought I couldn't either - but it was either pay loads extra for baggage allowance(cheap flights anyway)but wear everything and probably not all of it or just take the basics and have a cheap holiday
So no frills holiday = no frills holiday wardrobe (and it works)
Just took extra scarves & costume jewellery to brighten basics up.
Now am confident that if you told me I was going away for a week(long as you told me where!) and had an hour to pack I could do it as most of it is kept in a bottom drawer -into a rucksack and away!
So camping with the Girl Guides taught me something;)
But until this challenge my day to day wear was a nightmare- not at all organised -clothes strewn everywhere, not ironed, all jumbled up - but now I keep it all ironed, put away, I can actually "shop" in my wardrobe. :j
I take care & pride in my clothes now whether brand new,charity,hand-me-downs,primarni or branded - thank you Lula-Hula for keeping us on track:TCrazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100
*Frugal Living Challenge 2012, 2013, 2014*
GC 2014 Jan £154.14/£180;Feb £103.49/£180;Mar 117.63/£1600 -
Well, I have got all my clothes out and sorted through them, put them in bags according to size, to store in the loft for when I lose weight!
If/when that happens, I too will "shop" from my own wardrobe.
eta no spends to report. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Oh Gratefulforhelp I have just finished doing that today too. I already had some clothes in the attic which I have sorted through and have one carrier bag for the recycle, one carrier for oxfam (full of M&S clothes) and a big black bin liner for the local hospice shop. have also catalogued and stored all the clothes I don't fit into space saver bags and OH is going to put them all up in the attic for me next weekend. Its amazing how much space I have and I know that when I lose weight I too will be able to shop from my sttic. I also have a load of clothes to go on Ebay (stuff I know I will never fit into again although still lovely) so will start listing them to put on when they have the next 1p listing day.
Its taken me a couple of weeks to sort through it all but I feel great for having done it even though I am a little sad that there are so many beautiful things there that I can't wear:(0 -
And me, maisie. I'm really annoyed with myself. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Hello all,
I hope everyone's been enjoying the sunshine as much as me
We went out for a bike ride but it was cut short as it seems that since DD's bike went in for a service, the pedals are now coming loose, so it will have to go back again tomorrow .
We also had a quick shopping trip to town & I fell prey to some cheap linen trousers for work - only £16 for the pair & they will co ordinate with various tops I have. My work clothes budget is now down to £29 which is indeed scary, I want to get a couple of nice blouses & maybe a pair of cropped trousers, then I think that will have to do.
I've a couple of bids on some jeans on ebay as I have temporarily given up worrying about getting back into my old ones. This will coincide nicely with the new Sods Law Diet whereby as soon as I buy some new jeans that I really love in a larger size, then I will typically lose enough weight to make them nasty & saggy.
Happy New Clothes :j to all that have them, enjoy your purchases & I'll be back to declare a new total if my bids are succesful.0 -
