Hi all, hope everyone has been resisting! Come to report my first buy of 2010 - Very pleased its nearly April and I haven't bought anything until now! Bought 2 tops from Primark totalling £3.50 :) x
  • Still no spends for this year, I am still in shock. I was a top addict! Anytime I had a night out I would buy a new top, belt, necklace, earrings...you get the idea!

Since starting this challenge is has made me change the whole way that I shop. I've had to plan ahead and realise if I buy anything now then it eats into my budget for summer clothes, and as I might be going on my first sunny holiday this year I wanna hold out for buying holiday clothes. :j

I've also ended up wearing clothes that I had forgotten about in my wardrobe.

I do the 'pants outside the tights' thing too. Totally works! I hate the creeping crotch...the number of times I've taken the opportunity to fiddle about with my tights in a lift (empty) and then realised they have CCTV
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

  • Thanks...I'll give the pants over tights thing a try on Saturday and ensure I only have 2 glasses of wine to avoid embarrassment!!

Just disposed of: A dress, a jumper and an old work coat. No new purchases to report but i am going to Matalan and Tesco tomorrow so this could soon change.
  • Found a fair amount of stuff to sell/give to charity while rooting through my clothing boxes including 2 skirts, 1 dress, 2 pairs of trousers, 1 t shirt and a hoodie.
  • Just won a pair of jeans on eBay, so £0.45 to declare (I'm assuming postage doesn't count for this challenge). I've got a few things I put up for sale too so hopefuly will make it back and then some!

Woo! So proud of myself, usually would have had a blow out around pay day, but doing well. :T

I have some purchases to declare.

I need black trousers for performing with a group I'm in. My heavy winter ones were fine but summer is coming (any day now) so I snapped up a pair of black baggy combats in tesco for £8.

Saw a matching pair in grey that will replace the ones that ripped across the bum last year from being so worn out. Those ones strangely cost £12 even though they were the same as the black ones...

I had my eye on a big grey winter cardi with a black fluffy hood which is lovely. I couldn't justify £34 on it but it was reduced to £17.50 so it's now mine.

I've also bought socks and a pair of work trousres but those don't count do they?

Total spent in 2010 so far...£37.50.

I don't know whether I'm pleased with this or not. My wardrobe looks like a tinker's washing line...oh dear. Everything is falling apart so it's quite a challenge to try and keep to this £100 lark. But I'm giving it a go.

    Good luck everyone.

Boyfriend bought me some underwear online last week , so I dont have to count that :o
I somehow managed to prisze myself away from looking in the Next Sale for dd so I didnt spend anything their :D
Im slightly regretting it now thow as all of a sudden her trousers and jeans are starting to look a bit short on her overnight { or they have shrunk ;)}..So will take her shopping in a few weeks .
I popped into River Island and found some jeans reduced to £25.00 and a nice black strappy top reduced to £6.00 , I must admit I was doing really well avoiding teh clothes shops unti lI found a river island voucher left over from xmas in my purse ...which was £20.00
So minus the voucher I spent £11.00 to add : Whic hisnt to bad I suppose for a new outfit for the summer :)
