  • Do your parents know about your brother arriving or is it still a surprise? You must be so excited!! I know I am when my sister and her mob come back from Oz :D

Still a surprise:D He is just going to the station now, so should be here in about 3 hours.

  • Hope you feel better tomorrow. Have you remembered to take your medication? xx
It felt like I hadn't but I definitely had - very weird!

But is there anything in it?

Marzipan and ice cake - I know it should already have been done!
I completely misread this and thought you were going to make a cake out of marzipan and ice :rotfl:

Hugs Toots I hope your back and hips are less painful now and that you are less tired xx

Thanks Thifty and Mudbath for your get well messages

JoJo well done on your OU result

Diva so sorry to hear about your friend and I hope Tris is a bit more himelf soon

    Lil_me well done!

PenPen I hope you can get your heating going again

Boddy your mum sounds so sweet, well done on sorting out her necklace

Pigpen hope you can get some rest, so sorry to hear you’ve had another fall

Ashia hope your leak gets fixed soon

Natty I hope you’ve recovered from your Bluewater nightmare evening

Triker, I’m ok, have been struggling a bit lately, with all these money probs and trying to get my online shop going, and there hasn’t been time to post much. I really hate not being on here tho, and my flat is really suffering from no flying! I’ve just not had the mental energy to tackle anything. Am determined to do some flying today

I washed up a bowl and glass for breakfast, and kept trying to turn the tap on which I'd already turned on  Am going to go and do some more washing up now I've had breakfast.

HHC starting now - join me if you can!

  • juliejim no, you dont need to stay out of my way! Not grrring at all TAs, nursing assistants, medical receptionists or legal secretaries, just the ones who claim to be what they are not.

example "why do you need to see the doctor?" from the non-medically trained receptionist.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
  • Birthday or not, DD2 might be throttled over the course of the day....she is being a monkey to say to the least!!!!!

Off to dress the chillies and make an early lunch for them. I'm having a soak in the bath when DD2 goes for a sleep.

ETA: DD1 has just said "if I'd have known what it was like to have a little sister I'd never have had one!" LOL
  • Happy Birthday poppytime:bdaycake:
and many thanks for the weather site link - yes that was the one and I have it bookmarked now.

Well, no more snow overnight and even managed to clear my front steps this morning, but I'm not sure how long it will take to go when we get a thaw.

Safe driving/walking vibes for all those who have to go out.
lil-me - well done on your exam result :T
    MSD - 'pain-free teeth' vibes

Well the morning is vanishing fast and all I have managed is shower, dress, put out recycling and have a late breakfast.
    I need a plan :rotfl:

HHC results - 2 loads of washing folded and put away, and one load put in the WM. A brief declutter downstairs (still lots more to do til it's tidy though), and dirty dishes put in the DW.

    How did everyone else do?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
