I'll join you holly - OH has just got home early from work as they were all sitting there twiddling their thumbs and decided it wasn't worth staying open, so they've shut up shop for Christmas now. Will see if I can get him involved with a bit of hoovering.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Thanks everyone, so relieved I passed!

Well several HHCs later I have 4 more bin bags, loads more parp cleared out, which means 9 more boxes unpacked :D DP gone to bank, I asked, he went, odd....it's his stuff he's paying in so he should...

Just read on a news article saying Kim Peek has passed away, one of the inspirations of Dustin Hoffman for Rain Man and such increasing the awareness for Savants/people with ASD. RIP :(

**Gives head a shake** Going to do some more now, 3 more boxes to sort, 3 boxes of tools/cables for the garage and the LR/DR boxes are cleared of boxes wooot! I have to stay in again as Matthew's present still isn't here.....any time up to 6pm the online tracking said.
One day I might be more organised...........

Our car has been serviced and passed the MOT so that's always good news :)

Dinner cooked, eaten and cleared away.

Still waiting for turkey but I have no idea what time of day it will be coming. *watches door*

I think we're due some rain this afternoon, hope it doesn't freeze straightaway.

    Hello everyone,

I wasted the morning at soft play with the boys. They are now parked in front of the TV so I can get on.

I did all of the wrapping last night - we have overnight visitors from tomorrow till Boxing Day so I couldn't do last minute wrapping. The stockings are packed ready too. The other thing that has been nice is that I did the vast majority of the shopping in advance so I haven't had to suffer this week other than top up bits from the village co-op.

Off to find a list, then on with a HHC.

    Monday Mayhem..
    1. S&S the bathroom/s and loo's
    2. Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc Some done
    3. Dust round the whole downstairs

    Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!
    1. Iron yesterdays wash mountain
    2. Mop the kitchen floor!
    3. get out any special christmas crockery and make sur eit is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!
    4. Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!
    5. Wash any soft furnishings in need of freshening up
    6. Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike

    Wednesday Mayhem..
    1. Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially!
    2. mop the kitchen
    3. mop the bathroom/s and loo's
    4. Clean the bath and shower and loo!
    5. Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
    6. Catch up on the laundry again.. ironing is tomorrows job!
    7. Vacuum the whole of the upstairs!
    8. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
    HHC 2.15-2.45 anyone?
