  • Do grit bins still exist - this has been a constant topic here for days. I'm thinking of another facebook campaign - bring back grit bins!

We have one at the top of every street. That should paint a picture of the amount of snow that we get ;):D
EEEEEK, woke up this morning to about 4 inches of snow:eek: Would be fine if i didnt have to go out, but i do. Need to pick up my brother from the station:j and go to my parents, however just spoke to my dad and apparently cars are abandoned all over the road at theirs as its sheet ice! Hmm, not sure what to do:confused:

Do your parents know about your brother arriving or is it still a surprise? You must be so excited!! I know I am when my sister and her mob come back from Oz :D

    Happy birthday Poppytime :bdaycake:

piggers - please take some time to yourself. We dont want you collapsing on Christmas Day!

    Diva - (((hugs)))

I cant believe how much snow fell overnight. Looks like the buses have stopped running up here. DD is meant to go into Edinburgh to meet her Dad and then get her hair cut. Because he choose where they were meeting, he choose somewhere near where he lives  So she needs to trail into a different part of town for his convenience. Hmmmm, think I'll tell her how bad the weather is and she'll need to phone him and re-schedule to meet by the hairdressers

!!!!!!!!! Thats the snow on AGAIN! What's it like beside you today crafty?

    Morning all

I've cleaned the bathroom and toilet this morning. S&Sd the kitchen after making a sponge to use up a few eggs so I could chuck away a carton (I've got more). My turkey is being delivered some time today, probably about lunch time, so I've got to listen out for that.

Not caught up yet, but I'm trying ;)

      Happy Birthday Poppytime.
      Hugs for grateful and pigpen.

Well I've showered and dressed - need to eat breakfast and then put a wash load on. Have been avoiding doing washing as the WM is outside in the garage and I've been trying to stay in and keep warm, but it'll have to be done sooner or later as basket is full now too.

      Anyone fancy a HHC 11-11.30?

OK... enough sitting around feeling lazy... need to get on and get stuff done. Once I start making inroads into the washing up I'm sure it'll look better!

Must remember to take my hot water bottle collection with me! My mum doesn't have enough to go round.
