Marzipanning went really well - DS1 did the jamming and smoothing and I did the rolling and lifting. Icing will be done tomorrow

Dinner done so will clear the kitchen and look at my list.

Been snowing steadily here again for about an hour now and we haven't really had any melt since the first lot on Friday, Got some massive icicles now.

Thanks, greenbee, I didn't realise about the amount of electricity fan heaters use. Will have to get different back-up heaters.

It's not necessarily worth spending a lot of money on them if you don't use them often - you don't want to spend more on replacing them than you would on using them. But worth considering if you know they'll be used.

Soappie you look like a paparazzi, hope you enjoy your bath - I guess you don't have a tank with an immersion.

SSL - not sure I did see your cake - I get very confused on FB - poke me so I know who you are.

Well, vacuum cleaner man has been a fixed the dyson. The only insurance that's ever been worth having. £30 a year and they fix pretty much anything.

I wouldn't mind an insurance for appliances. Who is it with?

    1. Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! It is Bank Holiday on Monday so some shops are not open.. the big supermarkets are.
    2. S&S the kitchen
    3. S&S the bathroom/s and loo's
    4. Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
    5. Catch up on the laundry .. ironing is tomorrows job!
    6. Dust round the whole downstairs
    7. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
Will be finishing the rest later, have to make dinner for my BIL and sister tonight, they can't get home so need to call a taxi

Hope all are warm and cosy from the snow tonight!

That feels better! The two HHCs in the living room turned into 3-4, but it's been thoroughly cleaned and is mostly done now and looking much more festive with all the cards up. I've also managed to move the car and should be able to use it tomorrow.

I'm about to start tea, and will get the tree and decorations out of the loft while it's cooking.

Thanks to all the flyladies who are prepared to admit that their house is still a work in progress. It's going to take me quite a lot more time to get this place sorted, but you encourage me to keep going.

Looking forward to tree time, and I may have a little drink to go with it. See you all later.
