:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - I can't win can I!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: If you could see me wandering around wondering where all the mess it you'd be in stitches! I think it's something to do with Stripes eating everything that's put down which makes everyone else put their stuff away. I recommend a stripy dog to every flylady!

Hex - I couldn't agree more - we might not be 'rich' but I feel very lucky that I can work school hours and be with the children (well, most of the time!):Dxx

    ROLLS IN TARDILY

    BUT

IT'S CHRISTMAS I HAVE FINALLY BROKEN UP!

Who was talking about Northern Soul? Was it valli and carlsbergal? I'm watching ITV which I dont do very often. I love the Lambrini ad. The music is The Snake by Al Wilson and wiki tells me it is Northern Soul.
too right it is :D and I danced to it on Friday night:D

Valli.... managed to get the cranberries Thanks for offering xx
pleased about that as, due to conditions of roads and predicted low temps tonight the other mum and I have decided not to take the kids to Jiu Jitsu - definitely NOT an essential journey!

DD has cleaned her room:cool: but has flagged and all her underbed stuff is in my room.
I have been flying at work and have taken down tree and cards so won't have it to do later on. We didn't have to go in until 10:30 though, which helped and I detoured via Lidl to buy my colleague hubby a bottle of wine as a thanktyou forn bringing me home on [STRIKE]Friday night[/STRIKE]Saturday morning:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
WM x 1 this morning - what I need to do is get it in the dryer but I might leave it until tomorrow and run it for two loads consecutively.

Shall have a look at the list shioortly an adapt it as appropriate. I might also put an emergency menu together in case we have to stay put on friday BUT the xmas pudding is already IN Derby! Alternative pudding idea needed - probably ice cream I think.

Update - DD now back hard at it...

DH is having to walk home from town (usually takes about 40 mins, will be much longer in this weather) as no buses around and hundreds of people waiting. I'm hoping he'll be able to pick up a bus en route but I'm going to get on with dinner. We have no tv as no signal being received on sky. I'm hoping the dish is just covered in snow or there's heavy cloud. I'm going to have a very happy DH once he gets home. Contemplating getting the car out to meet him BUT it means a 10 min walk in the snow to get it plus driving on ungritted side roads as the main roads are solid.

Rach, I wouldn't risk it with the car. Just get some hot chocolate or a hot toddy or something ready for when he gets in.

And just for G&B - me in my beanie hat. Terrible photo, but it's the best I can do in the ambient lighting conditions.....
