I have three pairs of socks on, one short sleeved tshirt underneath a long sleeved tshirt underneath a large cotton rugby shirt and I'm typing this wearing a pair of fingerless gloves DD bought for me when I was involved in running a community market stall for a while and I have a hot water bottle on my knee.

You should be wearing a hat, fleece (or two) and a scarf as well. I'm wearing cashmere socks, sheepskin boots, thermal undies, leggings, poloneck, fleece, down waistcoat and scarf, and my heating is on!

But it's been snowing for ages here... and is now nearly dark

ETA - my cards arrived today. Thank you all so much!

Mudders, sorry but that is really funny!!

I know! I'm not sure whether to be offended that it's taken my friends this long to realise the place is tidier/cleaner.....i've only been flying for about 2 years!!:rotfl:

Right, the utility room is going to get the once over xx

You've been on the thread for two years... how long have you actually be doing stuff for ;):p

ETA Dusty - I put some instructions on cake covering on another thread yesterday which I'll look for when I'm off this call if it will help.

  • The house is pretty tidy, now, so I've spent my HHC doing paperwork. Think I might just carry on and join the 4pm HHC :D

FFP - hope DH got home OK. I dont think I'm going to drive until 5 Jan now

    .
FFP, I hope your OH managed to get home in the end and wasn’t too cold or fed up

Thanks, he got to Creiff at 11.45pm and was back home at 3.30am so he was tired and grumpy but went straight to bed, unlike me I haven't been to sleep yet as HRH was up on and off all night with sore ears, he's leaving at 5pm tonight I'm glad it's the last night. It's took me till now to be bothered to start the computer up. I did however wrap some presents when I had a chance this afternoon, just a wee drop left now I'll get to them in the morning. A wee bit off my list but not much. I'll be doing a chip shop dinner tonight with everyone eating out the bags then I'm off to bed the minute the kids are.
