  • Keep an eye out guys. When the site went back on a little while ago I managed to get s&g plane jane set for £4.50. I had 2 in my basket (was getting one to say thank you for someones whos really helped me on here) but by the time I checked out I only had one. I got confirmation email and everything so hopefully I will actually get it.

Fairly pleased now as its the ONLY thing ive managed to get. Going to boots tomorrow but doubt there will be anything actually left.

yes it was showing for me as in stock but by the time i had checkout it had gone out of stock again :(
    Brendan's new dance partner...please :D
  • Managed to get a few toys that I wanted at 10.10 this morning... took a while though! and managed to get a couple of things from my wish list that arent showing up on the site?! so not sure if I will get those! Happy enough though I should have just gone to a store by the looks of things
  • Oh my god! Never again! Just got back from Lowestoft Boots, and it was MURDER!!! Got there at 8:15 to find a huge queue already, when the finally opened the doors, SAs had put all the No 7 Ultimate sets by the door and the first 20 people were busy blocking the doorway filling their binbags, YES BINBAGS that they had brought with them! In the end, with a large nudge from the lady behind me, I ended up charging the double buggy through them ,running over at least half a dozen seys of toes! No one could get in the store because of them! Going upstairs was just as bad!

After half an hour queueing for a till (gave up trying to shop!) It was worth it, 2No7 ultimate, 2 No7 nails, 1 ITNG musical mat and a dozen other gifts later I have arrived home in one piece, just!

Hello to the fellow MSEr who sussed me out trying to round up Paige (never let a 2 year old out the buggy when a sale as big as this is taking place!), sorry if I sounded rude, I was a bit stressed and harrassed, hope you got all you were after! And, you are a MAN! I am very impressed!
Agree that was murder, definitely a lot busy than previous years. Did look out for someone with a double buggy but didn't spot you. I waited round the side door, did contemplate going in the front door but it was heaving. Once inside you couldn't see anything or get past anyone because it was so busy. Did manage to get a few goodies, wasn't anything I went in for specifcly thank goodness so wasn't upset. Still managed to spend £50 mostly for gifts but one or two things for me. Was all finished and paid for by 9am, went to costa for a drink and then went back for another look, hardly anything worth left by then! Might try Norwich next year, it's got to be better than that experience

I think its the case that the thread has just been stretched by the piccie, not that it has messed up your pc settings.

Fab piccie! nice to see so many goodies.
I managed to get 2 orders through online, one at 5.15 ish and one about an hour ago.
Ordered all the Sprig toys, read a few reviews and they sound fantastic!
Well done and good luck to all as appropriate, and sorry for those who are disappointed.
Oh and a big mug of coffee for those who waited up all night.
    Til next year :j

Also read this about Electricals, I've unpacked and thought I would post it.

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2217285

I got a toothbrush this morning for £5.49 (should have been £10.99 but SA let it through) - got home and RRP is £89 elsewhere.

Electricals were already half price and now 75% off the sale price. Most stores do not have it advertised!!
