Still on the lookout for a Sprigg Discover Rig somewhere around Leicester/Northants, but hopefully I've got the rest of the range - that'll make DS3s 4th birthday a good one

:hello: Hey I was at Lancaster as well in the queue this morning. There was one poor woman complaining that she'd been queing for ages then when they opened the doors everyone just burst in. I was quite impressed with what they had on the shelves, managed to get a few good bits. I was dissapointed as well that there was no S&G but my mum is going down to Blackburn today so she said she will have a look in the Boots there for me.

The only thing I was narked about was I'd picked up an In the Night Garden toy to be told it was still full price which I didn't understand because all the other toys were half price, so of course I left it.

i left a few mins after 9.30-although i was finished way before that.i asked a young lass who was stacking shelves if she could tell me how much my stuff came to as i wanted to use points and cash.so she told me how much and i was all ready to go over to the tills near the back way when she asked me what coupons i had etc etc.she then sorted it into 2 piles and i paid for everything @ that till-the one near the fridges.i saw the Good works sets but didn't buy any and i found quite a few thing were out of boxes.if i'd had that kinda treatment form a SA i'd complain to a manager-and ask for a discount for the dented box!

I used Apple's Safari software to access Boots.com and alot of F5's, managed to get an order through okish!

think i may have just placed an order, but not very hopeful, showing on the boots site. took flaming hours, had to clear my cookies, sign out of the internet then go back in, seemed to work but still loads of boots.com not avail and having to f5. luckily my basket was saved so i only had to go through checkout and that was painful.

Just got back from Taunton. Got there at about 8.30 a.m. for the store opening at 9.00 a.m. and there were already four other people there but by the time the doors opened there must have been about 40 or more queuing. We could see all the staff inside carrying huge bags of shopping around and could see the Manager letting the staff who were not working today in by the rear entrance (not that I've got any problem at all with the staff having perks). Could see three Gok Weekend Away Sets through the glass doors but a member of staff came down the stairs and grabbed two which was a shame as I wanted two for my nieces. I did manage to grab the last one though.

I also got a Chilli Pepper Travel Bag, a Boots Leather Washbag, 2 X Extracts Travel Bags, a Sanctuary Relax and Unwind Revival Bag, a FCUK Sport Boot Bag, a Thomas the Tank Engine Hot Water Bottle Cover, a Yardley Lavender Set, a FCUK Utility Case Set, a Celia Birtwell Brush and Organiser, a Celia Birtwell Purse and Key Fob Set, a Boots Urban Wallet, a Ted Baker Perfect Pair Set, a Travel Photo Frame, a Star Trek Mug and Keyring and some Star Trek Playing Cards. I spent £63.22 but saved £163.47. I had three large bags though which I had to lug home on the bus and I now ache all over.

After getting my sale stuff I went downstairs and bought some hair dye, a pot of Boots Multi Vitamins (used a 200 point voucher from the acm so got paid £1.01 to take them away) and a pack of No. 7 Wipes (used a 250 points from a gift set and a snowy so in fact got paid £1.00 to take them away). Was well pleased with both shops. I gained two snowies (could not be bothered to split my main shop up into separate transactions and the staff were so busy that I don't think they would have thanked me if I had) and I also liberated a 250 points voucher which had obviously come from a gift set and was just lying on one of the shelves.

While I was downstairs a member of staff was chatting to the ladies on the tills who said that by the end of today there would be no sale stock left. The other lady laughed and said that the way it was going the stock wouldn't even last to lunch time.

I'm glad I didn't get there too early as there didn't seem to be much point..

My family live in Blackburn but they all work during the day or else I'd have done the same lol, I was tempted to head over to Preston and see what they had but I couldn't be bothered in the end
