In the Swindon town centre branch staff were grabbing lots of stuff for themselves but they didn't start until doors were opened to the customers, this seemed very far for everybody, they also had very little time to get stuff because they had to jump on the tills to serve people quite quickly but guess they knew exactly where the stuff was that they wanted.

May post a piccie later but that may be taking the p***. I am very aware of people still trying to order online. I just hope all the interupted and abandoned orders get put back on there for you all.

hi to all fellow bootsters in luton this morning. i left the luton store around 10.am and they were putting out more toys (mostly ITNG) and childrens pyjamas/dressing gowns on the shelves. The shelves were emptying fast though.

:hello: i didn't get to Boots today as have baby and didn't fancy trekking into town. Tried online as it was really only toys i was after and the vain hope that some S&G stuff might as if by magic appear online :rotfl:.

Was going to try friday but i doubt there will be anything left!

Quick update. The site was down for 4 hours 40 mins this morning. the sale went live finally at 5am. Out of 500,000 people trying to shop, approximatley 5 managed to checkout the few items left in stock.

I got back from Boots in Lancaster at about half 10.

I got there for 8.55 and there were about 20 people queuing at the front doors (I don't know about the side or back doors!) As soon as they opened however everyone just went for it!

There was plenty of stock but only one No7 item (no Ultimate ), no S+G..

I got:

Well done on your trip, Im kicking myself a little now for not going to MK. I saw that the store opened at 8.30, children were up late and I wouldn't have got there until about 9.15 which I thought was going to be a bit late knowing how stuff flies out of the door. I wasn't bothered about anything in particular just feel the NEED to go to the 75% off day. I pottered off to my local store and for someone who wasn't bothered about anything I managed to spend about £80, half of it I know who it's for and when and half of it I just bought because I liked it. DD1 has to do some fundraising in the next 18months so I'm sure it will all get used for that, she'll be able to give great prizes for very little. I would have quite liked a No7 set but none in the store. I look forward to seeing your photos of your shopping so I can kick myself a little more for not heading to MK. Hope you have time for a little sleep today ym888 after being up all night and 3 boots stores. I know where I'm going next year.

edit the pic was posted while I was typing my post - it looks great, I would have liked a elle bag too maybe. I did get quite a few elle bits and I don't need a bag.

Keep an eye out guys. When the site went back on a little while ago I managed to get s&g plane jane set for £4.50. I had 2 in my basket (was getting one to say thank you for someones whos really helped me on here) but by the time I checked out I only had one. I got confirmation email and everything so hopefully I will actually get it.

Fairly pleased now as its the ONLY thing ive managed to get. Going to boots tomorrow but doubt there will be anything actually left.

Have managed to place my order online, only managed to get 2 Mr Men toys, everything else had sold out before I managed to checkout, only took me about and hour and a half!

Had to use Safari as well as IE was rubbish!
