Got a lot of Extracts and Botanics boxes and Sanctuary bags in Manchester Market St, then came to work and managed to get Winnie the Pooh pull along train and Fairtrade hamper online. Very pleased with my morning's work!

  • anyone been to luton boots yet? im thinking of going down

Got there about 8:15. Most toys had gone - just some Boots own toys left. Lots of of stuff out - alcohol, wrap, gift sets. Lots of Botanics (incl for men), No7 (men only), Gok £15 set.
Was busy and shelves were emptying fast. No sign that more stuff was being put out.
Staff were fantastic and everyone really polite (no barging).
    No No7 sets.

  • I feel really p-d off that I paid £20 for a big thrill hatbox the other week and now it's £12.50. I actually bought 2. Wasn't expecting it to be in the 75% off sale, do you think they'd give me the difference? It arrives in store on Friday...

You can try but they have no legal requirement to resell it back to you if you choose to return an item. Think that goods that have been orderered online get returned to the online stock rather than the store stock so you might end up missing out.

I have been reading this thread since 6pm last night and went myself to 3 stores this morning and not one hatbox to be found! (So you still got a bargain!)

It never showed up in the sale, I think its was put there as a red herring, never came back into stock.

I went to the Newbury town store 5 minutes after opening having had no luck online. There were not many toys but loads of the the big No7 (was £60) kits and also lots of the large Gok sets too. I managed to spend just over £40, saving £120 - shame I couldnt get the few bits I really wanted online but cant comlain

Was in there too and there were loads of beauty sets left including Sanctuary, No.7 and Gok stuff. I bet it's a different story at 5pm this evening though. Most of the staff seemed to be buying loads of stuff too! :rotfl:
