went to chatham store today and there were no s&g, no big boxes of anything apart from 2 botanics sets, some night garden toys, some photo frames, star trek bits, mens wash bags (black empty ones), some garden collection purses (lavendar, rose n vanilla?), loads and loads of those survival kits, a few bratz things, half price baby/toddler clothing and xmas cards & wrap paper (67p for wrap paper) also there were a couple of dr who scene it which went down to £9.05 so I nabbed one of those - hope it helps someone if you were looking for the more expensive beauty box sets then don't bother going to this store.

Don't suppose anyone knows what stock levels are like at Canterbury whitefriars store?

Just got nack from my local Boots. Arrived for 8:30am and only 2 other people waiting. Went inside and staff were just finishing paying for their staff. All very civilised, no queues or rushing. Tons of stuff were still available. No S&G but everything else still available. Most people seemed to go for the smaller priced items so I got the stuff I really wanted- No.7 ultimate collection, Gok Wan, FCUK Messenger Bag, Elle, Sanctuary etc. Split me bill into 2- paid for half of it using my points and the other half by cash. Very pleased with my lil stash. I am officially done for the year. I got wet but who cares after everything I got! Oh, one woman asked me if we were all part of a secret society as she didnt understand why our lil store was so packed on a weekday. I told her there was a 75% off sale and she just said so you people knew about it secretly, how come there are no signs saying that? Lol, great shopping experience. :T

Nooooooooooooooooo.......it's just done it again!! I'm sure Boots just want you to get all excited that you actually order the things you would then they won't let you pay - probably because there is no stock left - JUST TELL US OR LET US PAY!!!!

just got back from a happy productive morning at boots almondvale livingston lots of stuff on shelfs no s&g hatboxes didnt have much toys but i did see a trolley coming out as i was leaving with some toys so they might just be putting out them as and when the shelfs empty lots of water bottle covers thomas tanks and mr men, dont think a lot of ppl knew about the sale up here as it was very quiet and most ppl looked shocked. anyway i got nearly everyones xmas
for nxt year and a few bits for me and hubby too, SA also gave me 5 free packets of kids chewy vitamins and also 5 snowys for my transaction even though i put it all thru at once, very pleased

I would recommend going in. As someone else has said, the staff (if aware) were very much unenthused by the whole 75% thing - I get the feeling they didnt realise what the big deal was! No big signs, as you look through the door you can see the 50% signs but it isnt until you get to the shelves at the back you see the 75% signs. You might want to try Rushden too? Its only tiny but people might forget about it!
