went to my local small boots and picked up a few things - going quickly though, but only a couple of shoppers in so was stress free!!!
Going to forget about it now!!!!! LOL!!!

so anybody here from grimsby? i got there for 8.30 and there were quite a few women there.unlike other years (not been bootsing much in the last 12 months) i didn't even have a list with me-cos i didn't REALLY need to buy much.came back with a fair few bits mind but the stuff will come in @ some point.i usually go over to Hull and last year it was bloody crazy there-really greedy people snatching stuff.gtg to my son's over there on Friday so i'm gonna see IF there's owt left when i get there.
  • Just back from my local wee Boots and managed to get few bits n bobs! Got 2 of the Elle handbags (for my BF and myself - couldnt justify before!) No.7 Ultimate and few other wee bits, that I didnt need! Gave up on the website and glad I made the effort now ;-)

Can't decide whether to drag my 4 week old out to town and look instore...

I was in there 2 weeks ago and their 50% off shelves were pretty bare, would they have restocked?

I managed to get one order processed and paid for online, just trying to finish off my second order.

I've learned from last years mistake, spent too much time dilly dallying around the website, by the time i went to pay everything had sold out.

Hope everyone gets what they wanted

That exactly what I did - a large online order, quickly checked outn then a smaller collect from store one, thats took ages to go through so pleased I did the large one first.
Only mainly wanted the cupcake flannels, for party bag filler.

  • Im sooooo pleased managed to grab 4 Gok sets from my local branch in Swindon town centre. Was waiting at 8am & it's the busiest I've ever seen it on a sale day. Loads of the staff grabbed baskets full of stuff for themselves just as the doors opened (don't blame them they should be able to get first dibs) and most of the customers didn't go mad just seemed to pick what they wanted leaving stuff on shelves but did notice a couple of ladies virtually stripping shelves of stock that was left. On the whole very pleased with the sale this year. Lots of lovely bargains for birthdays/christmas pressies.

  • The Boots.com site is absolutely rubbish. I did manage to order some toys, but it was real agony. I just noticed on the website that the free delivery is on purchases over £45 now, that's gone up from the £40 which it was when I ordered earlier.

    Hi every1,
Managed to place online order - couple of bits. Just wondered if anyone had been to Trafford Centre?

    TIA
