I'm stuck at work and can't get out for another hour I hope there's something left for me! if anyone has been to westfield, sedley or piccadilly today; is it worth my while going to any of these stores? was there much left? I'm never going to be able to read back all the pages I've missed on this thread since I logged off last night - hope everyone got at least some of what they were after.

I have to say, although I did well and got almost everything on my list, the Vic Centre was a lot busier than last year at this time. By the time I go there at 8.35 (store opened at 8) shelves were already being cleared - and there were noticeably more folk with about 6 filled big carrier bags each. There was one woman who was literally dragging (as she couldn't possibly lift it) one of those big car boot/laundry bags along the aisle as she filled it, towards her friend was was out of the way at the end of another aisle, with 2 more already filled bags the same size :eek: !! There were still some No7 ultimate sets at that time, plus some P&P big sets that I hadn't seen in the store before this morning.

But by the time I'd gone to Broadmarsh (much quieter, and got most of my bargains here) and come back through Vic centre to my car at 9.30, the NO7 had all gone. They were restocking the shelves, but only with Chilli Pepper bags and Gok sets (they do appear to have loads and loads of them). Also loads of the red striped hot chocolate mugs about, everywhere.

I seriously think next year I'll have to make arrangements for my neighbour to take DD to school, so I can be there at the doors for opening time :rolleyes:. Broadmarsh SA told me there were folk queuing there at 7.45am when she arrived this morning.

The site seems to be improving. Just ordered a Sprig Discover Rig after reading reviews for it. Went through no problem at all.It will be a nice gift for my nephew's birthday in May

Hiya just back from speke and got some but loads had already gone, i picked a bubble garage up as really wanted it as they had others put mine down on the floor as also had a screaming 3yr old who wouldnt walk and couldnt carry both and it got gnabbed and one lady had just emptied the shelf of about 8 of them so never got another one, was bit :mad::mad: but nothing could have done and least got what i did get
if anybody has one spare let us know postage to liverpool

hat was about it as was heaving and little one wouldnt co operate , i got a lift so never had his pram and nobody would lend us a trolley.

it was civilised but there were quite a few pushchairs there which made it difficult to reach stuff-as well as ppl with loads of those big mesh bags.i would say there weren't too many toys there but i did buy a set of 3 ITNG beanies for my niece's birthday.i got 2 football survival and 2 shoppers kits,2 fcuk sets (black purse,lip gloss & body spray,chilli pepper ( 3 things in a box),photo album,2 celia birtwell purse and key fobs and 2 Extracts mini bags.bought a 90p magazine to make the money up so i could use extra points coupon from machine-which i used with my mailing extra points/double points coupons.

shame you couldn't get there-maybe next year?

does any1 think that they will update and put a bit more stuff on? i did manage to get a bit this morning, but i cant belive for a wharehous site that they have only got a couple of good items and all the rest tat!!!!!

Hi I didn't bother going into Glasgow city centre 2day just went to my local shop however turned up at 8.30 am to find that they didn't open until 9.00am and I saw the staff filling some bags for themselves!! before opening up. The perfume sets went very quick, loads of aftershave sets left. I think I must have a boots addiction as I have bought all this stuff to give away as gifts I might keep a box of chocs for myself..shrewdalx
