  • for anyone in Leeds, there was good stock in the Bond street store. Not much in the small city centre stores and crown point is worth a visit.

The big items everyone is after have all gone, now mostly fresh gift sets ted baker, sanctuary gold bag loads of mens toiletries (arenn't there always), photo albums royal jelly nothing else really of note.

I was very restrained in my sale shopping today, now as promised in return for going to boots i now have to ebay some of the stuff i already own and don't actually need.

Mt a nice man today who was down from i think swansea on business, i know one of you ladies posted that he belonged to you, he seemed to be doing ok but seemed like a very polite guy (like my Dad i bet he didn't do any pushing and shoving).

Also saw an amazingly organised gent with a massive loadsa litre caoacity rucksack and loadsa baskets, makes me think he is an mser.

Good luk those who have yet to venture out, and to those that have been i hope you got a large proportion of what you were looking for.

    Hi,
Hope everyone is well after last night! Went to bed at 4am. Woken up by hubby at 7.30am. Logged on to www, seemed to be workign got the error. Have been trying on and off since but nothing. Have been to my local Boots. They had quite alot of stock. One store was busier then the other.

Spent alot but great presents. The staff were very helpful in one.

BUT and old women tried to nick stuff out of my trolley! Then she looked at me all shocked when I looked at her. I got it back but honestly.

I have to take my sister to Trafford Centre later- just wondering if anyone has been and if it's worth going in and having a look?

The site seems to be improving. Just ordered a Sprig Discover Rig after reading reviews for it. Went through no problem at all.It will be a nice gift for my nephew's birthday in May :)
I was ordering at about the same time (just before 12)nand this was removed from my basket at checkout :rotfl: Well done!
Still managed to get a load of other Sprig items though.

I have never bothered with boots 75% as i normally get what i want in the 50% on boxing day so i get it.

However i was in town today so popped in, our store isnt very good big but did have quite a lot and i was amazed by the amount some people buy!

    I Got a
    no7 cosmetics case £5
    r&m perfect eyes £3.75
Botanics gift set £2.50 - think this was my best buy and wished id picked up another
    Fresh smothie set £2.50
    ted baker mens £2
    FCUK sport mens £2
    Brown wallet mens £1.50
    Brush roll £2
    2 hot choc mugs £2

so all in all not bad

they only had that one number 7 set and no s&g

Warning: NOT ON IN EVERY STORE

Burgess Hill, West Sussex is still 50% - checked by having items scanned ... all 50% promotional material still on display, staff apparently unaware of a 75% sale.

    I had a wasted journey :(

Awful, why not just do 75% off nationwide, everybodys waited long enough

I suspect it was because they did not really have that much left - just a couple of shelves, and I guess the store managaer made a commerical decision to leave it at 50%
