Boots - Electricals 75% off already reduced prices. Not advertised!!

I went to my small Boots this morning and the SA were really helpful in getting us some sale bargains, she told us that the Electricals were also in the 75% sale - BUT, it was 75% off the already reduced prices. None of the other stores had this advertised so check prices and see, the Electricals bit had no-one in it at all.

There were professional straightners reduced to £10 that were £80 before Xmas. I had no-one to buy them for so left them there for someone else.

I picked up a Braun toothbrush and they said was supposed to be £10.99 but it went through at £5.49. SA said not to worry to the girl on the till and to let it go through at that price. Had a look at home and googled it and it turned out it was actually worth £89.... :eek: I got a bargain but for £10.99 anyway that is an amazing price!!

Do you know if there were any mens electric shavers or women's epilators? I am after these but not sure if I can face going back to Boos with 2 kids!

Not instore for moi they went through full price as marked. Which store did you go?

I tried a Oral B 2000 (I think) which was half price at about £40, and that was going through for £40 still. This was at the small Broomhill store in Sheffield.

That's a great buy! I'm thinking though that it could be 'older stock' if the purchase was from a smaller Boots. Still a great buy even if it is old stock, who cares

In my Boots there was a display of reduced electricals which looked as if it was also part of the 75% off sale - but an assistant came over especially to tell me it wasn't! Pity, as 75% off the reduced prices certainly would have resulted in huge savings. I think whether or not the reduced electricals are included in the 75% sale might differ from store to store.

This was in Stevenage, SA told me evertyhing was and specifically pointed out the straightners but there was nothing I really wanted - it was everything in the electricals ranges in there. Sorry if I have misled everyone.
