Sounds lovely Shoe Gal! Mines is bright yellow with wooden floor hence the wooden stuff to go with it all. Might wait til after New Year and see if it goes on sale or something.

It started getting a bit milder today but it's now blowing a blizzard here, I've to drive to OH's tomorrow, hope it's ok tomorrow.

Better get on with the tidying, I hate dishes

Ashamed to say never did get those dishes done :o

Decided to finish my £5 on Ladbrokes Bingo so I can get my £20 (apparantly), as my sister started on it recently and has won over £200! I got down to 1 number twice but not a sausage. Have came to the conclusion that I'm never meant to win money, only earn it.

I'm a bit peeved I thought I had lost my cashline as it means once I get my new one, I need to register it on loads of things i.e. to pay credit card bills, play bingo, ebay, play.com etc. Wondering what I don't really use and maybe I will just not bother, will save me buying/spending money I guess.

Anyway nite all, last day at work tomorrow, hoping to get away early.

    Morning all,

Well it's Hogmanay at last and I'm at work

Spent half an hour this morning (after being woke up early) watching my neighbour and a few other cars trying to get up the hill from my estate! It was like the Wacky Races! I could hardly get ready for laughing then thought better of it as I hadn't attempted it yet

Didn't get the chance though as my boss chapped the door at 7.50am to ask if I wanted a lift into work - no chance of saying I was snowed in then .

So here I am, sitting with nothing much to do, thank goodness for MSE, and wishing I was home. Going to OH's tonight but was supposed to be leaving straight from work, now I have to get home and try and get up said hill. My boss said he could tow me if need be, never been towed before, this will be a laugh.

Had my final latte (along with a roll on fried egg - they forgot the tattie scone) of the year as I am starting my detox and healthy eating/saving money by bringing lunch to work etc., in the NY. Was supposed to go at lunch-time to buy my detox tabs (gonna take them as it encourages me to eat better), but have no car so will try getting them before D-Day i.e. Monday.

If I don't get a chance to get back on today, have a great New Year everyone and may 2010 see all your hopes and dreams come true xx

Hi Swinstie - Happy New Year :j

Which detox tablets do you take? Have you tried them before?

It's the 28-Day supplements from Boots, cost £13 or thereabouts. I tried them last year, didn't loss any weight unfortunately but I felt I ate better for the 28 days I was on them. They are basically supplements but because you are taking them, you try harder to be good IYSWIM. Just don't cut out tea completely like I did, had horrendous headaches for a few days!

I have packed away all my choccies and wine until I finish it, my house currently resembles a cross between Cadbury World and Haddows :D

    Have a good one x

Thanks, I might give them a go, like you say it might just shame me into eating better
