Great minds and all that - i decided I would go and do some sorting instead of forcing myself to watch crap telly. I cleared the whole of the top of my chest of drawers that became an almighty hotspot for me. Even OH was impressed when he came into the bedroom!

Better head off to bed - good luck with the decluttering!

    Evening all, *waves to urg*

Day 2 of detox is not going well, still have a major headache and I've been craving chocolate all day. I did cheat and have a small piece of tablet which was totally delicious but still no choccies. I had weetabix for breakfast, tuna sarnie for lunch, smoked haddock, rice and peas for dinner and that's about it. Had to go and check there, nope I didn't eat my cereal bar either. No wonder my head hurts.

Anyway nothing on the money front, got petrol today which will hopefully last me a week or so as it was flipping £1.15, the last £30 only lasted me a week! Anyway MBNA money due off tomorrow so will then make my overpayment to that. Need to pick up detox tabs on Thursday so will pop into Hobbycraft and see if I can get more invite stuff. I've already procured the white stock paper from work (which was getting put in the bin) along with some nameplaces, which I can do myself. Not sure whether to get sister to do her calligraphy (don't know if she can do big writing), or just print off some labels, what do you think??

Afternoon, well 80p spent today on some soup. Had tuna sarnies for lunch and a pack of sweet chilli snack-a-jacks. Smoked haddock with potatoes and veg for dinner tonight, not sure what it will be for the rest of the week for lunch or dinner, but hopefully something from the freezer/cupboard, although I do need washing powder so will need to make a visit to the shop again.

    Morning all,

Having a really bad day today, just feel like crying or something, not sure what's wrong with me. Getting really peed off with work - our department went from 60 people to over 100 and they all think whatever they have requested is priority. Team meeting today and I've got people asking me all sorts and when I say somthing hasn't been done yet, I'm getting looked at as if it should be done NOW! Forgot my heartburn tablet today and I just know I am going to suffer later.

Got out of bed with a spring today as well, as going to get the rest of my invite stuff tonight - now I just want to go home. *going away now before I bore people*
  • Ugh!!! I hate those days. I hope the crafting in the evening picks up your mood.

Hi all, ok so after yesterday's debacle of me actually sitting in the (am I allowed to say this) disabled toilet crying my little heart out just because I was having a bad day and everyone was annoying me, I've decided I need to get my positive head on.

I had it on, on Monday when I declared my new PMA (positive mental attitude), I was positive on Monday, mental on Tuesday and had an attitude on Wednesday :rotfl::rotfl:. Needless to say it didn't work out too well for Thursday.

So, today I have been having a look at my finances (again) and have totally shocked myself into clearing the last of this debt. The figures are speaking volumes:

Starting Debt - £14,571.12 at LBM of October 2008

Current Debt - £2,895 (minus Christmas present and Wedding Stuff)

Which means I have cleared £11,676.12 in two years, or £5,838.06 per year :j, BUT it's more of a :eek::eek: when I realise that I have actually paid off - drum roll...... £22,465.71 :eek::eek:

This is because I stupidly added (on some needed and a lot of probably not needed stuff) £10,789.59 or £5,394.79 per year. If I had only added half this amount (cos you still gotta live) and still paid the same amount, I'd be debt free and have £2,499 in the bank - now where is that banging head against brick wall smillie??

So plan of action for my 50 Day Challenge is to get my debt reduced to as near to £1.5K as possible (£1K is a bit too ambitious), I have two pay days before the 20th December (paid around 17th) so this should be manageable.

Have just finished my detox today having eaten very little bad stuff, got my other detox tabs and they flipping expire March 2011 so either my plan for detoxing in Apr and Oct 2011 is out the window or I will use them anyway - surely they'll be ok to use :o

House, I started the great de-clutter last night after nearly breaking an ankle falling over boots, so the aim is for it to be spick and span and lovely before Christmas. This is a big job as I want to empty every cupboard/wardrobe/drawer and clean and re-organise.

So, I go back to the title of my own diary and declare that I truly am going to be Living my Life But(t) N.A.K.E.D from this day forth. Wish me luck!

    Evening all,

How hard is it to find silver stick on hearts?? Eh, eh! I have been driving to different crafty shops to get these and still can't find them. Wish I had looked harder at the craft fayre now. Also can't find lilac pearlised C6 (I think - half of A4) envelopes or tartan bows. Might have to buy some tartan ribbon and try making the bows myself. It's frustrating as I've got nearly everything I need, really want to get day and evening invite made up so I know if it'll work.

Anyway, porridge with berries for breakfast, baked potato with coleslaw for lunch and chicken pasta for dinner. Have also had a brunch bar with two cups of tea so far. Not sure whether to watch X Factor or just tape it, it's easier to flick through the many ads if taped.

Made Body Pump this morning and booked in for Zumba tomorrow at 1pm, don't know what I'm letting myself in for, but I need to do something if not going to go to the gym during the week after work. House is still a work in progress but I'll do my best to keep the parts already done, tidy then the rest will follow as they say.

Also being trying to call the bridal woman who hires dresses, no luck as she's not answering and her shop is now closed. Called another one to ask if they hired and the guy said they have sales on with dresses as cheap as £50! I will be going for a visit, just don't know whether to do it now or wait til I've lost some weight.

Well night all, hope everyone's weeked is going good so far.

Wow - Swinstie, that's a great plan you have going there!

The headache you get with a detox is horrible isn't it - and I know what you mean about not wanting to take tablets, it somehow seems to be undoing all the good of the detox doesn't it! Well done for sticking with it though.

    Afternoon peeps,

Well I am being a bad Swinstie and foregoing my Zumba class today, oops! I only booked it yesterday, have never been to the Sunday one before but woke up this morning feeling sniffly. OH came down on Friday night with a major cold and now I've got it. Sat all morning watching tv, had some porridge with my fruit (yes, I had that much fruit to use up) and now need to get the kitchen cleaned. It is a riot, looks like someone has used every implement and dish and left them all lying needing washed, oops, that would be me (again).

It's a lovely day as well, so might go jump in the shower, go for a quick visit to mum's, get some lunch ingredients for work then get stuck into the house - I hate housework when it's nice out.
