1.07pm ... hardly the evening is it?? If I was your buyer I would be livid, I have paid more for some items recently based purely on the desatch time, I'd rather pay a little more and know its going to arrive by xmas, perhaps your buyer bid on your item instead of another one because of the despatch time you stated??

some of us have day jobs that last until 5.30pm, so wouldnt matter whether he paid at 9.02am on Thursday or 9.02pm because it would not have been posted that day as I would have been in work and unable to go to post office.

the irony of it all is that if he had paid as soon as he won the item (Weds) in all likelyhood the item would have been posted Thursday, but as it happens I am between two properties Friday-Monday and the package was at the property I was not at... never mind.

wow absolutely!! now leaving it this long and then only posting second class is awful, but with this new info of the buyer paying for first class, this is abissmal!!! i cannot believe u left it 3 working days and used a lower postage ses6jwg. thats disgusting service. you slowed their parcel down by almost a working week, because of your laziness and lies. you should be ashamed of yourself. have u told the buyer u only sent second class?! i will definately not buy anything from you!!

Its ok I will be crying myself to sleep tonight...

however u would have known it had been paid that day, packaged it that night, and took it on your lunch break friday, or saturday morning at the least. its pathetic that u are doing this to con ppl out of an extra quid or so. so did u tell them then??

so you are in another house friday to monday. he paid THURSDAY. shoot urself in the foot. and if u sold it and were expecting payment its hardly a big bulky thing to just throw in your bag ready to send is it!!
A good friend can tell you what is the matter with you in a minute ...:A

    Neahahaha.
  • What a pathetic person. I'm wondering whether you're old enough to even be using eBay.

5 days, 3.5 days where the post office was open.

    Auction ended Wednesday 9/12/2009.

Buyer paid via paypal Thursday 10/12/2009 @ 1.07pm

    Posted Tuesday 15/12/2009 @ 1pm

For weeks now I have posted the day an item was paid for. An item paid for at 1.07pm can easily catch the last collection of the day. If it was paid for after the PO shut it will be wrapped ready to go first thing the next day.

We get on ebay at 7am and start checking for payments etc and if necessary pack all day often untill 9 or 10pm. Needs must in a recession..

The fact you waited 5 days shows you are not running your business as your livelyhood.

Why bother stating 2 days for despatch then or why not go to the post office on saturday when you're not at work?? Tbh, it seems pointless debating all this, you obviously want to make the money from selling your unwanted stuff but have no respect for the people buying it from you. I feel very sorry for the buyer who has bought in good faith and has probably been put off of buying on ebay now, poor poor show.

apart from the buyer asking where their item is, what else have they done to hassle you? endless phone calls, emails, knocking on your door etc.

For those who havent seen the auction, (Item number:320457251417).

No one else has commented on the postage yet, but for £5.95 I would expect SD if I was the buyer, you want to send 2nd class you should be charging a lot less.

It is sellers like the OP that give Ebay sellers a bad name.
