ASDA ruined my flooring! What next?

Just wondering if anyone has advice here?
I have had a complaint against Asda as they delivered shopping to myself and in one bag was a faulty bottle of juice and half the bottle poured into my laminate flooring in the hall. Therefore the flooring is warped badly and looks awful. It was only laid last year so feel somewhat mad with Asda.
Anyway i have wrote to them, emailed them phoned them since February to find out what they can do about my flooring. They sent a guy in to take photos and he took away my evidence...the bottle of juice. Yes maybe my big mistake but i felt this had to be done to resolve the matter.
Anyway now they are saying they are not liable for this as i signed for my messages upon delivery and that is that. As a good will here's £100!! £100 won't cover the replacement flooring never mind the joinery fees.
What puzzles me is that say Asda went into someones house with a faulty bottle of bleach and it poured over their carpet, unless they had noticed this before you sign for the goods then your up crap creek without a paddle.
I'm mad as i feel like Asda are interrogating me over the phone with accusations now. Some Manager from the Home Shopping is just not interested. What else can i do here?

stick with it. I used to work for ASDA as a customer serivce manager and we nearly always pay out. HAve you gone through ASDA HOUSE their head office?
If not write to the manager of customer service at HO and tell them what has happened- give them an approx of cost of laminate and advise that the bleach was taken from you and you feel it was done under handed to rid you of your proof ( because trust me it was) and if they do not act on it you will take it further. Pos trading standards if it was faulty.0 -

Thanks, this is great information.
I have been sending letters to Asda House for the past fortnight and they have been contacting me via phone not letter. Some Mr Presley Manager has told me that he doesn't care if i go to a solicitor, he said that's my decision and that is that. God knows what they've done to the bottle i don't think they know where it is. He said for all they know there could have been a pin !!!!! in the bottle, how dare they say that. The seal was still in tact and the hissing was coming from the seal.
I'll send another letter tomorrow telling them about Trading Standards and going to my Solicitor.

I do but not accidental cover. I have accidental cover for contents but not buildings. Flooring like this is under buildings. So i'm at a loss there.Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0 -
If they refuse to write to you, at least follow up every phone conv with a letter to them outlining what was said in the phone call.*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***
If I don't reply to you, I haven't looked back at the thread.....PM me0 -

I'm with Northern Rock and phoned today about it and she said it wasn't covered in my Policy. I could always phone again to check.Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0 -
It must have been one hell of a puddle.
I have 5 children constantly spilling drinks on my laminate flooring and mine has never warped, maybe the flooring was faulty in the first place.0
