That's an excellent suggestion! She bites her nails but is trying to stop....and mine are shot through DIY so that would be a treat and an encouragement for her all in one.

I think if you make something an issue to kids they make a fuss of it more.
I wore make up from 13 and probably dressed in older clothes but I always looked older when I was younger iyswim lol
I would just let her have it and then make it disappear in a few weeks0 -
could the parcel go *missing* mislaid and ended up in the bin by accident???
edited to say, before Christmas that is0 -
Lol mm.....the things are individually wrapped so I'd have to be extremely careless to lose all of them.:rotfl:Herman - MP for all!0

How about spilling something like orange juice over the pile of them so they get ruined?0

I think that's a great idea,
the person who said wrap another present with the same paper and give that to her instead, if the OPs daughter's friend asks her about her present it would all come out that the OP had swaped the gifts anyway
Sorry, that was a joke, hence the smiley!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Sorry off topic but a while ago I saw a girl no older than 4 wearing a tiny tartan mini skirt, and knee high, heeled boots (with no tights in the middle of winter, while the mum had big coat etc but thats another story!!) The little girl was dragging behind and the mum was pulling her along saying "come on, hurry up!!" The poor thing could hardly walk in the stupid shoes her mum had dressed her in, and then she was getting told off for being slow! It made me so cross!0
