There was 2 , but the main bathroom one didn't have the vent installed in the ceiling. It used to suck the air via the gaps in the panel in which you access the unit. So this now has the vent in the ceiling so should work a lot better.
Vegas is awesome. Was in LA and San Diego too,but Vegas is a hell of a lot of fun!
Have a good new year if i don't catch you here before then.0 -
Yes it should as the air that is being sucked in the vents is being replaced by air from other rooms so it will mean the air circulates the flat a lot better!
I must get to vegas some time too!
have fun.If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
That's actually quite a good point. I'll try to elaborate on the subject a bit more tomorrow - I'm too tired now....
You never elaborated on this Chippy.
Also how are you getting on Clockworks with the system? If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
hi guys
got back from Vegas on Monday and have been at mum's since. Have been struck down with the flu or something! Unfortunatly the heating system died again. Whilst i was gone. Engineer is great and came down the same day (girlfriend called him) after a few hours managed to diagnose the problem, Went to a neighbours and his heat pump is pumping out 50 degrees! A lot more than my 31!
Anyway turns out its the condenser (unless im mistaken) , new one has been ordered and engineer was round today dismantling the old one in preparation to stick the new one in.
So providing the snow doesn't delay the delivery i should have the heating up and running tomorrow!0 -
Very good clockworks and good on the engineer for coming back out, sounds to me like a few things were faulty with it.
The condenser yes thats the big radiator thing like you have in the front of your car.
What was wrong with the condenser? Leaking or damaged? Or do you mean compressor which is the pump of the system.
WOuld be good to see some pics of the system once you it all sorted.
Get well soon.If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
i can't remember if it was the condenser or compresser actually. It's definitley one of the two. The Engineer is a great guy and didn't let 30cm of snow stop him.
My property and many like it in the block was bought by the buy to let brigade so they were never serviced or looked after.
Once it's all sorted i will post up some pics!
Looking forward to getting some heating going! Mine is also a lot noisier than my neighbours so hopefully this should quieten it down a touch!0 -
PS in case i need to ever change the system, how many rooms does your system heat and how much did it cost?
thanks0 -
Sounds like it was the compressor then, that is the heart of the sysem that pumps the refrigerant around the system.
This should resolve all problems I think. If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
