Possible BA Strike

Thanks Richard, I'm going to wait and see what happens, we can cancel our hotel any time until the 27th. We're only going for 5 days and I can't be bothered to faff around with changing airlines.St Petersburg is possible via Helsinki apparently.
I really feel for people who are visiting family etc, we'll just lose out on £150 for our visas...but other people are missing weddings etc, that makes me :mad::mad::mad::mad:
Save me from spending...

Cheering for a ruined Christmas...wow.
I don't think people would've minded so much if they had gone on strike on the 28th or 29th, but to do it on the 22nd is just going to backfire very very badly. From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.

You will see on the screen that they are NOT cheering to a ruined Christmas, but to the fact that they have won a ballot to take action at having to take pay cuts and change in working conditions
Fingers crossed all will be sorted by BA and everyone gets from A-B

I am also Cabin Crew, my posts are my own and not that of the airline or other company0 -

I wonder how many people will be cheering now that they're public enemy #1?
Certainly if they go ahead with this idiotic strike, they can expect to be treated very badly by both employer and customer. From Poland...with love.

Seriously, why would anyone in their right mind want to even consider booking a flight with BA over a main holiday period? They will be doing this again at Easter and then again in the height of summer and again next christmas. They always do. They are a national embarrasment. Remember the T5 utter fiasco?
Has for that bunch of commies in the Unite Union !!! Well what i would want to say about those imbeciles would get me banned.
Do NOT book any flight whatsoever with BA in a main holiday period.
YOU WILL END UP WITH NOTHING BUT STRESS, PERIOD.
Before anyone starts harping on about that they can only use BA to get to their destination, i would beg to differ.0 -
We need to open up the immigration gates. There are thousands of cabin crew from Asian/Middle Eastern airlines that will provide a better quality of service, speak several languages, wouldn't even consider strike action and for a much lower cost base.
Seriously, once you have flown Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Qatar and Ethiad you will never look back. British Airways have been trading on their brand and past reputation for a long time now.
That video is awful. Poor speakers, awful organisation and unprofessional.I'm going for my QuidCo £million!

Well the reason I booked with BA was the price. It's the cheapest flight I could get without going charter (which I haven't looked into) It cost for me and my OH to fly to orlando for 2 weeks about £650 all in, now it's about that each with other airlines!! So some of us just can't afford to book with someone else!! Although as we're flying from gatwick we're hoping our flight won't be cancelled and it may just mean less staff or something. I will also echo what someone else has said and does anyone know when we are supposed to hear about which flights will be cancelled etc??? I know they were talking with lawyers yesterday but I haven't seen any new info yet!!Joined Slimming World 19th May 2009

If you lived in the north of scotland you would find your airline options very limited !travelover0
