Well I still dont think there is anything poisionous in dove soap personally, but i could be very wrong! Last night I just got a mouth full of lather and then have been spitting it out, so I get the taste and the foam but not digesting alot of it, Today I havent had the craving so far thankfully!

I feel the same about drinking in pregnancy, and both can easily be avoided if you care anything about your unborn child, but i guess some women don't care that much to give up the fags and booze, they are simply too selfish.
I take it you haven't been a smoker? Don't get me wrong, I really don't agree with smoking and drinking in pregnancy and it isn't something I do myself but...having seen you try to explain what pregnancy cravings are like, you get some sort of idea how a smoker feels when they need a cigarette. It can actually be quite painful to give up and doing it in pregnancy, without some of the usual supports such as NRT or medication, must be so very difficult.
As I said, I don't condone it, but I can understand just how difficult these women find it to give up.
Actually i was a smoker before i fell pregnant, and gave it up to try for a baby, yes the cravings were very strong, but my love for my unborn child was stronger.
The Bananas however was another matter LOL!
I smoke now, but i don't have kids, and am too scared to have another right now, but if i were to try for another the fags would be gone immediately.

Regarding the other posts, i really hope that nobody was upset. Not on my part or that of others, it would be really boring if everyone agreed.
I think the fact that there have been some mature disagreements on this threads has proved a brilliant debate, that has been really enjoyable to read.0 -
Ceredwin, thanks for your reply to my post. That was one of those times when your original post wound me up a bit, but now that you have eplained the way you live your life I think "Ho Hum, well we all live very different lives". I tend to live my life by doing first and thinking later, though this is changing as I get older. And for the most part it has worked out for me. I love both my (unplanned) children very much, but as we are so skint I know if I had planned them they would never have happened as it makes no sense to have children with no money. On paper my little family should not work, but in reality it does becuse you always find a way to make it work and as everyone knows material things are not important to children, but love is. And there is alot of that in my family.
OP sorry for interuppting your thread. I was obsessed with Doritos and strawberrys when pregnant. Your craving has to be a vitimin deficancy thing, surely, perhaps talk to your health visitor?0
